Good day doctors,
My sister had CS to deliver her baby in the second week in January, 2020 and she is 8weeks pregnant as of today.

Is she's safe to carry another successful pregnancy and what measures she needs to put in place to ensure she's perfectly okay.

Thanks

Travel / Re: What Is The Cost Of Living In Abuja?? by laithanman: 7:55am On Sep 05, 2020
I do not know why u guys are discouraging dudes to live in nyayan. Mind u, Nyayan is still abuja, under AMAC. Rent here is affordable 100-200k for self con depending on the area, facility available and how secure the area is. Transport to town is Max 1k to and fro. The traffic is minimal except on days when there is accident on the road.
I stay in nyayan and I drive max 45mins to work in central area. Same coming home. Traffic only gets mad when accident happens on the road.

Sorry about the pain and inability to sleep..

Lots of water is what will help as advised by the doctor and paracetamol can help with the pain...

Sitz bath in Warm water (ensure temperature she can conveniently sit in) with savlon/dettol and a pinch of salt In a bowl that can contain her.. Not very hot water oo

And also encourage her to empty her bladder as soon as she feels like urinating, she should avoid holding urine for long .

Another option that help with UTI ,hydration and very nutritious is cranberry juice..

If you can get it, let her drink it a lot..

Hope this helps..

One love always...

Pls gurus in the house. I have an EOD 05. It slips to false neutral when driving slowly on a rough road or traffic. But when I turn off and turn on the engine, the gear picks up again and work normally.
This usually happen like 2to 3 times daily.
I scan the car and I have the following codes
P0780 &
P1734 shift.
What could be wrong and the way out pls.

Pls gurus in the house.
My HONDA EOD slips to false neutral while in traffic or any terrain that causes me to drive slowly. When I turn off the car and turn it up again the gear picks. It happens like 3 times daily. I scan the car and it these codes in the pics below.

Please which way forward. Can't afford a tranny replacement now oh and I don't want to give it out to a mechanic that will worsen the issue

Thermostat sensor

Oxygen sensor 1 & 2

Camshaft sensor

Throttle position sensor

3 & 4 should worry you.

Please let me know if i am wrong.

1. The TPS is the one on the throttle body.
2. the Camshaft sensor is the one on the left side of the engine on the cylinder head
3. The thermostat sensor is the one at the bottom of the Radiator (I checked this and the wire has been cut off)
4. The O2 sensor in on the exhaust pipe under the car ( the wire too has been disconnected).

Thank you for the support.

Throttle position sensor malfunction is another possibility. Luvinghubby already mentioned that. A scan SHOULD give this away, but if not.. for all it's worth, remove the harness and inspect mating surfaces for moisture. If moist, allow dry before reconnecting. Use the opportunity to inspect the harness wires too.

The last thing that could be needed with a TPS malfunction is to replace it. However, you must be certain what you really have is a faulty TPS.

By the way, hope you can see how the dangers of 'steam washing' your car engine far outweigh the benefits of doing a careful, meticulous cleaning by hand periodically. In actual fact, there is no steam anywhere. All you have is usually a jet of water forced through a narrow nozzle tip to create turbulence and a HIGH PRESSURE in the flow.
It is the sheer force of this water under high pressure that dislodges most of the dirt. However, many times we end up getting the water in the wrong places as a 'collateral damage', e.g. alternator, spark plug holes, ignition coils, ECU, one sensor or the other.
You can achieve the same or even better results by using a degreaser/ organic solvent like petrol or carb cleaner to clean oil-smeared part of the engine before carefully hand-washing the engine with mild soap and water, having covered the vital areas with a water-proof material. This will usually save you the kind of issues that result from 'steam washing' engine bays.

The only part you probably need a steam washer nozzle to clean is your a/c condenser, and this must be done right to avoid 'wrecking' the condenser too.

Cheers!

Thanks Nas00

Hi Boss!

With all these you have already ruled out (assuming done properly), the other possibilities is an outrightly worn engine or transmission wear. Compression test to confirm power loss, triple drain and refill transmission fluid with fresh ATF-DW1 for starters.

Thanks boss

The power loss thing started after I steam washed then engine.
It started with engine misfiring which my mechanic advised I change the spark plugs and did some setting on it. It then stabilizes but looses power climbing hill. It difficult climbing hill that it doesn't kickdown to speed up but stays in that particular gear and drags up d hill
Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by laithanman: 7:17am On Apr 23, 2018
The gurus in the house. Pls I have plenty problems with my EOD.

1. It revs to almost 3000 rpm b4 gear shift. There is enough transmission oil in d gear boxear.

2. The car loose power when climbing hill. I have serviced the throttle body, injector mouth, cleaned the airflow meter but no improvement.

3. AC is not working, even the blower does not turn on. Blower was pulled out and tested OK.

Please I need ur advice
