Science/Technology / Re: How Nigerians Are Wasting Money On 4K Ultra HD TVs. by lofty900(m): 9:42am
Uchihaitaci:
Well said OP
Unfortunately Nigerians are a breed of humans that don't care about analysis, insight or facts
.they cheer mediocrity and superficially

For now only Ps4 pro owners and xboxone x owners really utilize the 4k the in Nigeria, let's not forget pornhum also have 4k porn vidoes

So unless you are using any of the above then you are not being intelligent by using a 4k tv
.even in the states the PS4 pro didn't sell so we'll so alot of people didn't upgrade to 4k , but in Nigeria where people can hadly feed well you see them running to get 4o TV's just to watch a N200 naira 480p DVD on it? I laugh so hard at Nigerians most times
you're definitely on point my brother. 5 bottle of alomo for you. cheesy

Why did you specify iPhone when it's coming to all smartphones?
Apple has the patent for the technology but when it launches, it will be available in Android as well. Samsung, LG are also members of Car Connectivity Consortium.

@TechCapon

The car connectivity consortium ( CCC ) has announced a Digital Key specification that will become the new standard for all car manufacturers. The Smartphone makers will collaborate with car manufacturers around the world to make this technology available using this new industry standard. This innovative new digital key will be available in the form of an app. Car owners will be able to download a digital copy of their car keys right into their iPhone, set a password and use it to lock/unlock their cars, start the engine and even park their cars. When this new technology rolls out, there will be no need to carry car keys around, your smartphone will be your new car keys. The same way the smartphone is already replacing the wallet with mobile banking, people buy goods and make payments all with an app, same way the smartphone will replace the car keys. Specialized hardware like near-field communications chips and internal secure elements provide a high level of user protection.
A lot of you might be wondering, ‘what if I want to give my car to a friend or family member, do I have to also give them my phone?’ The answer is NO. You just have to share your digital key password/pass key with them and their smartphones will automatically be the car key. ‘What if I forget my phone in my car and lock it?’ Simple, just download the app in another smartphone, transfer your password and other information into the app and unlock it, Sounds great!

ALPS, Continental Automotive, DENSO, Gemalto, NXP and Qualcomm are core members of CCC while Apple, Audi, Samsung, LG, Volkswagen, BMW, Hyundai, Panasonic and GM are charter members. Audi is already using digital key technology in its vehicles, while Volkswagen, another charter member, said it plans to integrate the technology in the first quarter 2019 and can be used between different smartphones ( both iPhone and Android ) and different cars. This feature will be highly effective and secure because it will require authentication for it to function.
I’m very sure this technology will be loved by everyone, do you agree? Tell us what you think in the comment section.

Simply because of the inherent dishonesty.of Nigerians as a whole.

I will not give anything on credit to a Nigerian I do not personally know. Never.

Try it and see first. You shop will be empty on the first day and then you'll start chasing debtors.

Online you'll see reactions like is it because of I-phone he's harrasing people like that.

Pls pay and carry if not leave it let it gather dust.
I concur. We're too dishonest

The database and to an extent limited network are the key constraints. Another constraint not mentioned is law enforcement. Will a credit defaulter be made to account for his/her deeds upon defaulting? Regarding the customer - bank relationship, I think Fidelity or Sterling bank had/have such a scheme (you are loaned money to purchase a high-end phone).

Nonetheless, good points.
but they couldn't sustain it. The truth is, credit system cannot be sustained in Nigeria.

My experience with "most of them" is that they always think they know it all and also, they want to play safe because of the numerous scammers using the name if those online stores to dupe people.

Even with the list of the OP you may still get headaches when it comes to buying online since it is not your job, cinsidering that you have a lot to do within a shoet period of time. Everything is so easy now as you can delegate the responsibility to a sales consultant of that particular online store in order to get the best of the store.

I have resolved several issues of those that never contacted me for their orders before making it here, though they did it because they think they know what they want to order. Also, because they did not know me and few, because they find it difficult to trust... But i helped them in order to build the trust.

Please call/Whatsapp on 08091180137 to order from Jumia now through a reliable and trustworthy Jumia Sales consultant.
you're right. They don't even know they can get items cheaper through an agent than if they do the shopping themselves.

Those curved TVs actually reduce the viewing angle, so it's the opposite of a benefit, like iPhones removing the headphone jack and calling it courageous.
exactly. Mehn that headphone jack removal really doesn't make sense.
