I am very indifferent about this!. Reasons-Good governance has nothing to do with gender using example of countries like Argentina, Liberia, Defunct Russia kingdom under Czarinna Catherine the great etc, we cannot say only the men can provide good governance. Secondly, using our current situation to judge I will strongly oppose the idea of using a woman as the president because the resilience which men naturally have doesn't exist within the female folks(arguably). Lastly, male or female, I'll accept a messiah in any fold. NB:This is my opinion. |

Literature / Re: What Nigerian Books Are You Reading? by mercenaryx(m): 6:29pm On Mar 21, 2012 |
ortopazz: I WOULD NOT LIE, I am a proud NIGERIAN and not afraid when it comes to literature to hold my head up high as a proud one at that. Truth be told we are lazy when it comes to the present day writers due to our lack of adjustment to the modern trend, yes of course the AFRICAN story oor culture must be exposed and funny enough THE CHINUA ACHEBE'S AND CYPRIAN EKWENSI'S ETC have done that. we need to think outside the box and bring in our new trend even though AFRICAN but with a new flavour to spice it up. can you read??. What's the question? |
