Politics / Re: Amaechi Re-elected As Chairman Of Nigeria Governors Forum by merengue: 7:28am On May 25
That we are making so much noise about an inconsequential post like this shows how unserious we are as a nation. GEJ and his cohorts displayed their usual ineptitude in their attempts to remove Amaechi . This allowed Amaechi to portray himself as a victim, provided a rallying point for the opposition and elevate the stature of the NGF chairmanship to ridiculous levels. The heat on Amaechi will increase but he has put himself in a strong bargaining position
Politics / Re: Anti-Amaechi Protests In Port Harcourt - Picture by merengue: 11:46am On May 23
The foolishness behind this protest is staggering, its a protest by rented Ijaw militant scum against an Ikwerre governor over a matter of whose spheres are bigger and whose ego needs more massaging; if Nigeria's history is anything to go by, it will become tribal and violent and any insecurity in Rivers will spill over and end up in Bayelsa and then who loses? Amaechi has been foolish and has failed to learn from the foolishness of Fayose and Daniel who went toe to toe with OBJ and ended up losing big time. He should bide his time and be more strategic, you don't fight a president in Nigeria unless you govern a state like Lagos. Unfortunate as it is, the truth is that whosoever wins the PDP primaries (if any) will win the presidency in 2015 and from all indications, its GEJ; he holds all the aces.
GEJ and his Ijaw people have made a lot of enemies by their arrogant posturing and infantile declarations in his few years in power so far (even in the Niger Delta and I suspect they will make more before 2019). They should thread carefully.

I have told you guys to stop commenting on ND because you surely know nothing about the ND. GEJ 2015 is bigger than GEJ himself and even he knows that. We don't need a useless northern slave VP from Amaechi. We will chase him into the Atlantic. GEJ does not need to raise a finger.

Stick to your 10MW Alausa generaator project!

Keep your stupidity to yourself and stop making it a Niger-Delta thing, we are not all imbeciles like you.

I can reason with your opening comment. Only some one who lacks any point in an argument types the way you type.

Your conclusion is that he is not a good coach right ?

Ok very good, when he earns $11,000,000 per annum in chelsea. You concentrate on your forsaken life in penury.

When he leaves Madrid if the next coach fails. All of you will say any where he goes, he scatters. If the next coach succeed you will say, He is better. He is used to such hatred. keep it coming.

But note that Mou will does not go to a club that is winning but a club that crashes out in ROUND of 16 like real, unknown like Porto, Relies on only glories of the seventies like Inter and crisis ridden like Chelsea.

He will not go to a Bayern Munich and ride on the glory of another man.

Exchanging banter with you is actually quite pointless, I reiterate my earlier comment that you share the same I.Q as a dung beetle. So Porto was unknown before Mourinho came? Are you really that daft? And please remind me, what crisis were happening at Chelsea before he came in? They had not won anything in decades, he came in and spent millions and won trophies so what nonsense are you talking about? What did he win at Chelsea that Mancini has not won at Man City? Capello & Del Bosque achieved more at Real than he did, so what is his excuse? So beating Barcelona (a feat that Celtic, AC Milan, Bayern have achieved) this season is now a trophy?

Mou did not buy C Ronaldo,
he was not the one that bought Kaka,

Who uses money to win champions league from ROUND OF 16. For your information, LA DECIMA is a goal after he achieved the desired stability.

Yes, when you are hated, you will be destabilized and you will be scared of taking some paying risk. Casillas is loved in Madrid and his girl friend Journalist is reporting news that increases division. REAL can choose CASILLAS over MOU and see who suffers for it.

Analyze from now till next year, Mou leaving REAL MADRID is Madris's / Spanish Lalig's loss.

Really? So tell us why Mourinho suddenly became hated by his own fans?

The day he leaves, is the last day i will likely watch la-liga and i am sure plenty people will share that sentiment.

You obviously do not have the sense God gave a dung beetle. So for a team like Real Madrid, semi-finals are now an achievement? You think Real Madrid is Chelshit (the first ever UCL champions to go out in the first round). Mourinho is a complete and utter failure, he always has a litany of excuses to cover up his failures. Bernd Schuster won La Liga, Capello won it twice in two seasons with half the talent that the Loud Mouthed One has at his disposal so what is his excuse? His style of play has been found out by virtually everyone in Europe. He belongs in a small plastic club like Chelshit.

The truth is that success in football is never consistent. It takes planning and patience. Except for Man Utd in the EPL. After the success of Xavi, Iniesta and Messi, the Barca board should have actually put fate int the La Masia youngsters. I can understand buying Fabregas but Sanchez (who actually is a superstar), Villa and Song, I totally feel was wrong.

Bojan should have been left to develop. Youngsters like Thiago Alcantara, Rafinha Alcantara, Jonathan Dos Santos, Muniesa, Montoya should have been brought in to develop. The success won't come immediately but with time they will dominate. That is what Barca did before and the Germans are doing it now.

I disagree on that point. Look at the ones they have sold (Bojan, Jeffren, Dos Santos) what have they done in those clubs they have been to? They are simply not good enough. The buying of Cesc was purely based on Catalan emotional sentiments; Xavi wasn't ready to leave and there is no way you can bench Iniesta so what need was he brought to fulfill? The Song one is the most idiotic; you already had Busquets (because of whom they sold Yaya) & Mascherano so what is Song doing in that team? Villa was needed because they needed to lift the scoring burden off Messi's shoulders. Sanchez was supposed to offer something different; speed and directness. Now they are talking about Neymar. Barca needs a good goalie, two good centrebacks and a new striker.

Patrick Herman would most likely go to Dortmund to join Reus there.

I dont think Bayern would sign any of those 2 right now

Lewandoski has a huge chance of moving to Bayern I would say like 70% chance of him signing with Bayern

They have absolutely no need for him, they already have the two Marios and Pep is not a big fan of big, classic number 9 strikers. However, if he must leave, BVB should get a similar type of player like Dzeko or get one of the Marios. Unfortunately, Juventus have gotten Llorente. I think Munich would rather go for a player like Iker Munian (A.Bilbao)

Age is catching up with Robben and Ribery. Bayern are planning for the future, that was why they captured Boateng, Martinez and now Gotze. Reus will be perfect to come in. I believe Bayern is not going for him because Dortmund just bought him but their telescope is on him.

I agree about their age but they can always go for someone outside Germany. I think they won't want to antagonize BVB. They would go for either Draxler (Schalke 04) or Patrick Hermann (B.Monchengladbach). Lets see how Holtby progresses at Spurs though, he is another one

It is not just about buying players. I believe Bayern wants the best German players playing in their club. That was why they fought and took Jerome Boateng from Man City. That is why they are getting Gotze and Reus is up their among the best German players.

Then they needed Boateng, given how useless Van Buyten and Demichelis were. Even he himself failed, hence the purchase of Javi & Dante. Depending on if Pep wants to keep Robben, they have no need for Reus and he is too good to sit on the bench. Dont forget they still have Shaqiri, Ribery and Muller

Barca has one of the worst defence in the world and despite the fact that most of their defenders are short, most of the goal they conceded was through their tallest player. I think Barca needs to revisit their philosophy. It needs to be tweeked a little bit. They were bullied yesterday mostly physically. As for Madrid, they had no business losing this match by that margin. All in all, i'm happy for Germany. After the La Liga, the Bundesliga is my favourite league.

The blame for Barca's failure should be put on Sandro Rosell and no one else for the following reasons:

1. Pep knew that some players had lost their edge and wanted to get rid of them, Rosell refused. Players like Alves, Villa, Pique.
2. The signings of Cesc, Song and Sanchez were luxuries they did not need. All three have added nothing to the team since they joined.
3. Illness or not, Tito is not as good as Pep, they needed someone who could tweak the system like Laudrup or Bielsa, not a continuation of the same system which the whole world has been studying over the last few years.
4. The arrogant belief that every product of La Maisa will be as good as the previous ones.

Dzeko will be perfect, he is a goal machine. Marco Reus won't last in Dortmund. Very soon Bayern will come for him. Maybe Reus has just one more season for Bayern. Well if Klopp stays, replacements won't be a problem.

You are making Bayern into Chelsea? grin grin grin grin. FC Hollywood wont buy Reus though I suspect one of the other Euro giants will come for him later. Reus is from Dortmund but Gotze is a Bavarian, that has played and will play a part. Also look out for Leandro Bittencourt, he might be the one to replace Gotze. Its the defence that might be an issue. Due to their intense rivalry with Schalke 04, they might not be able to get Howedes if Hummels goes to Barca as is been rumored.

Since Kagawa left, It has not been the same. The trend has changed.

I remember Dortmund winning the League and German Cup back to back. I feel those days will take time to come to Dortmund. With Lewandowski and Gotze living.

Replacing players who leave has not been an issue for BVB, Watzke & Klopp seem to have it figured. The problem will be the relative smallness of the squad and how it will cope with the rigours of multiple competitions. Look at what they have done already:

Lucas Barrios = Robert Lewandowski
Shinji Kagawa = Marco Reus
Nuri Sahin = Ilkay Gundogan

I hear they are lining up Dzeko to replace Lewandowski and one of Isco/Eriksen to replace Gotze.

Apart from Lagos name one other SW state with development to match east, I have been to some areas b4 in ur region and they are glorified villages called state, which city in Sw can match the beauty of Enugu, compare Ibadan and Onitsha, Ibadan is not organized, dirty buildings but Onitsha is much more organised with neat buildings.

Why I mentioned Ibaka port is because of the strategic benefit it will derive from the bussiness in the aest, at least they are doing it but they are not blowing trumpet.

As a Madrid fan, this defeat rankles but any fan who says he didn't see this coming is a big dummy. BVB and Bayern learnt their lessons from last season's defeats, the rest of Europe especially the Spanish giants did not. Jose Mourinho's tactics have been found out over and over again by the smaller teams in La Liga, yet no corrections were made. Truth is Barca and Real need new coaches, new ideas and the sifting away of deadwood like Pepe, Pique, Alves et al. Big ups to the Germans for adding mental strength and hunger to their play, hope they can transfer it to Der Mannschaft.

I am hoping and praying that this would finally get the attention of the whole world in particular , Britain (where 3 igbos are parliamentarians) USA where a black minority of African descent is in power, Russia,Israel and France the traditional allies of igbos ,Arab world ,African Union and all members of the UNSC,China the business partners of igbos , india , japan and south Korea.
