If you're competent in another programming language, Python is the easiest programming language to pick up. Just download Python 3.2.3 and read the Python tutorial that comes with it. If anything is not clear, browse/search StackOverflow. Go through the Python module documentation. Ask questions on this thread.

Once you understand Python, download the CherryPy web framework and install it. Read the documentation to get up to speed and play with it for a while. If you have questions, search the web or ask on this thread.

You will also need the MySQL driver for Python. Download this and follow the Python 3 installation instructions. Of course, you must download MySQL to your machine in order to use it.

Is CherryPy still the best framework for Python?

By best I am most concerned with speed/performance.

Business / Airbnb Payout Method For Nigerians (solved) by Nairaplus(m): 10:35am On Oct 24, 2019
If you are on Airbnb and have made some money but don't know how to cashout, then here is a solution thread for you. I just stumbled on a solution and it worked for me.

I am in Nigeria, and I host in Nigeria, since 2018, but had no idea of how to withdraw my earnings on Airbnb until last week. As I write this, I have successfully withdrawn my Airbnb earnings.

If you are wondering how I did it, then, just message me on 080 9633 9911 and I will guide you through.

Don't be scared, I don't charge a dime. But you must be ready to do exactly as I say.

Business / Re: 5 Things You Should Do To Get Very Rich With A Small Provision Shop. by Nairaplus(m): 7:30pm On Mar 17, 2018
StancyFrosh:
Starting a provision shop is no big deal. You mustn't get half a million naira to open a big shop that will attract people. You can start from somewhere. The setting of the business can be at a busy road, if its a school environment. The small shop can be close to hostels, lecture halls and classrooms. You can be selling normal and simple provisions and yet add selling of snacks to it, to draw more customers.
Now, when you start the business. There are rules guiding your business. If these rules are not respected and carefully followed, it might wreck down ur business, like some shops that started filled with provisions, but after some months, d shop began to go empty, and d shop owner may not have enough money to refill the shop.
Here i have 5 steps to take to make your small shop a big shop and let it boom, with my rules.

1. You do not select, judge or lay insult to your customers. You have to be SOCIAL, be friends with everybody that comes to your shop to buy onething or d other, they will come back patronizing you.
2. Be neat, wear good cloths, if possible speak good english.
3. Always, be happy. Smile. Your smile attracts many customers, not because you are beautiful or handsome, but because they will think you are rich.
4. No matter what happens, do not eat your provision, share with your family, or to your love ones. Because, you are into business, you mean business.
5. Do not sell your goods for credit. If the person does not have money to buy, let him come another day.
Also, do not involve yourself in any cooperative society. Remember d proverb, "A brower is a slave to the lender". You will get addicted n continue paying your credits, and get frustrated.
Heed to all of my advice and it shall be well with you. You grow very rich within a year.

I agree with everything but the bolded part.

With a very good feasibility study, you can always know if it right to take on a loan or not. For instance, let's assume you started November 2017, and 4 months down the line (today), you have started making a profit (after all expenses) of 36K. Plus, in these past few months your customers have been recommending that you purchase some stock that they usually buy, and all you need is about 120K, a cooperative loan will be a very good bargain at this juncture, because:

1. You can easily pay back with profit.
2. Your customers will be happy patronizing you because they know you are ready to satisfy their needs.
3. You do not miss on sales just because you do not have the item in your shop.

And that means your profit will increase thereby helping repay your loan (plus the little interest) in a very short time.

Seriously speaking, my TRAINING will be next week (October 10th -14th) but with all the noise about Guarantors for a Federal Government guaranteed loan, I am begining to consider taking a bow out of this.

First, they put us through the first test of spending internet data, and then they surprised us with the Take-Care-of-your-Bills warning for the training.

I think this is getting too far... how can government not be able to make provision for what it envisioned will boost the economy? This programme is becoming laughable o... seriously.

Anyway, just a heads up that up till now, I have not been able to download either my End of Course REPORT or CERTIFICATE for any of the FOUR completed courses so far.

I have cleared cache (even using the Forget Site feature of Firefox), tried using Chrome, all to no avail. Anyway, I had to message them, cos I ran out of credit while on a call to AMI.

But when I contacted the customer service through info@africanmanagers.org, I was sent the copy for the last one. How come?!

So far, I am loving this training.

Ehen! How many of you have done feasibility of your chosen businesses?! I did mine yesterday, and surprisingly, POWER (using Generator of course) turned out the PRODIGAL expense, followed closely by salaries. In fact, without a GOOD feasibility, you may not make it, except GOD be for you.

I wouldn't even mind the loan at 15%, insofar as the complete 5million Naira is approved for me.

You meet someone online and you decide to send money to him just like that? This is so baffling, I used to think that Nigerians are not 'scammable'. Sorry about your lost money, Hope you recover what you've lost.
Babe! We do business online and we transact cash here and there. So, the guy did nothing wrong by trusting him. Many people send me money before I render service requested.

However, where I blame him is that since he hasn't met this particular guy, he would have played safe by sending half the money first or even less. Many of my clients prefer to do that, even when only 10K is involved. In fact, as I am writing this, one of my client has paid upfront for something that I haven't delivered. So, we blame the guy who is making it difficult for clients to not trust us beforehand.

In fact, this is an opportunity... thinking mode activated!

Education / Graduating With CGPA 5.0 Is Sheer Luck: Quote Me Anywhere by Nairaplus(m): 7:58am On Feb 25, 2016
Many Students have the capacity to graduate with a CGPA of 5.0, but, the WICKEDNESS of the Professors and Doctors will not let them have it.

Imagine when a lecturer either tells you that:

"The Grade 'A' belongs to God"

or that

"You can never get an 'A' in my course"

or that

"Since I never got an 'A' in this course, you cannot get it"

They will even go to the extent of adding: "...no matter what you write."

How do you expect any student under such WICKED persons to graduate with a 5.0, even if they are worth it.

Kudos to the guy from Unliag, cos even though he's brilliant, he was also lucky.
