Politics / Re: World Bank Officially Selects Kim As President-ngozi Okonjo-iweala Lost by nedostic: 7:19pm On Apr 16, 2012
I believe Prof Ngozi Okonja Iweala has done well by contesting. Methinks, its much more important for her to turn around our economy rather than being a world bank president. She really needs to put in a lot of efforts on our ailing economy.I am yet to see any meaningful impact of her economic with financial strategies on the nation's economy,so far,the economy still lacks financial discipline and it has been business as usual.

She needs to assert herself considering her wealth of experience and intellectual dexterity.More so, its time she came up with home-grown policies rather than World Bank or IMF policies that are majorly out of tunes with the workings of the Nigerian economy. There is no gainsaying the fact that our economy is crying for an immediate help!

If only our politicians and their sycophants would reduce their penchant and desire for large scale corruption and financial recklessness, our economy would be better for it. No matter how hard Okonjo Iweala tries, she still needs the political will to succeed and this where I expect our humble President to fully support her if of a truth he is really passionate about moving the nation forward.

I wish the new IBRD President(Dr. Jim Yong Kim) success, though the task is enormous but I am sure he would perform considering his background and expertise on poverty amelioration.

I am sure for those who excel in the exams, there is likelihood of scholarship offers. More so, if you do the exams you do not need to pay that much in EUR.

As regards, the VISA requirement, I am not in the know of such information. The information on visa processing can be found on the Czech Embassy,Abuja website. Please feel free to contact the consular officer's email or better still call even when you do get email feedback.

What I can authoritatively tell you for now is that you or perhaps your sponsor's account must have a minimum balance of about 85,200CZK yearly. Please visit this site for important info on VISA processing as well(http://www.mvcr.cz/). This site should be used in consonance with the Embassy's website.

For those who would be writing the exams, best of luck......

Have a wonderful Easter celebration and do not eat much nor drink much. Do all in moderation because Easter is about love for mankind by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ........Never mind my christian rap......but there is truth in it anyway.....

I have been rightly informed by the Admission Officer in Informatics,CULS,Praha that there would be an entrance examination in Accra by May/June,2012.I was equally made to know that emails have been sent to the concerned students who would do the exams.I believe with this entrance exams, it would brighten one's chances in terms of visa processing. More so, students would pay less and there would also be scholarship opportunities for those who would excel in the exams.

What I do not know is if there would be chances for others who did not submit their applications to write the exams. There are currently three courses(Bachelor's and Masters) in English at the faculty-INFORMATICS(BSc,MSc),AGRICULTURAL ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT(BSc), EUROPEAN AGRARIAN DIPLOMACY(MSc),and ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT(MSc).

Please feel free to make enquiries on your own(http://www.pef.czu.cz/en/).

Enjoy your Easter Break!

@OP,without mincing words, it is evident that the man is a businessman and not a pastor. Its not biblical to connote faith with how much in monetary value one gives out. This is where most of us got it all wrong! I have always being a proponent of the prosperity message but I need to say here categorically that most sermons these days on prosperity is pure materialism(satanic induced prosperity) and not the true prosperity message.

It has dawned on me as well that in a materialistic society like most of the African countries, its quite easier to play on peoples psyche all in the name of breaking out of the poverty syndrome. Methinks this is religion that is at play and not christianity. Religion gives room to gullibility!

Being a christian is totally different from being religious. Its pretty much more than going to the church, as a christian it demands having a good grasp of the the word of the Lord, and applying yourself fully to the word. I am definitely not ruling out the grace of the most High God since the race is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy(Rms9:16).

@OP,This post of yours epitomizes sound christian doctrine, any other teaching aside this is an aberration.

I have always believed that men of God so to speak are meant to be servants and not highly exalted as it is today.

More so, there is a need for us all to have a paradigm shift based on the undiluted word of God rather than shifting our attention to the so called pastors or ministers. These are mere mortals like you and I who can fail at any particular point in time but the Almighty God is always unfailing.

More so, what matters most is for edification of the christian mind.

Religion / Trinity:fact Or Fiction? by nedostic: 11:59am On Mar 04, 2012
I bumped into this web page(http://www.upcbaypoint.com/Articles/trinity_fact_or_fiction.html) and I deemed it necessary to paste it here. Its quite exploratory on the subject matter.I have no doubts that it would be a spiritual blessing to a truth seeker about the undiluted word of the most High God.This excerpt might look so contradictory to most christian beliefs but herein lies the truth.Anyway, its much opened to biblical scrutiny if you you doubt the truth.

*****excerpt from http://www.upcbaypoint.com/Articles/trinity_fact_or_fiction.html*****

God is one Divine essence subsisting in three Divine persons, 1st Person Father, 2nd Person Son, and 3rd Person Holy Ghost. Co-Equal, Co-Eternal, Co-Omnipresent, Co-Omniscient, Co-Powerful. Three in one and one in three.

In looking at this statement and concept one must keep in mind even trinity scholars themselves down through the centuries of time admit the trinity is not clearly found in the sacred text. This means the trinity is not expressed clearly as a fact in the Word of God. These scholars also admit the trinity theory is a result of human induction from the statements of the scriptures. This means humans with their educated minds have identified certain scriptures which indicate "to them" the existence of three different persons who are deity in nature but operate in different functions. These scholars also state one has to believe in this theory to be Christian and be saved even though there are scriptures in the Word of God which totally refute this theory.

Following are common teachings by trinity believers which have scriptures in direct opposition to the teaching. Here the Scriptural Harmony Process clearly shows the many false teachings of the trinity believers and why the trinity is not a true Christian doctrine.

God is one Divine essence subsisting as three Divine persons.

John 4:24. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Eph. 4:4-6.

4 There is one body, and ONE SPIRIT, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

(No where in the Bible is God described as an essence or a substance. Nor is the Father and the Holy Ghost ever described as persons in the Word of God. Keep in mind in the spirit world there is neither male or female. Also, God the Great Spirit is neither male or female. This means the Father and Holy Ghost are titles given to the ONE Divine invisible omnipresent Spirit who is God. This Great Spirit is our heavenly Father and his name is Jesus Christ. This is why Jesus told the Apostles. "When you see me you have seen the Father."wink

There are three separate persons (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) living in heaven. Each has his own throne and they are seated next to each other with Jesus Christ at the right hand of the Father.

Isa. 43:10-11.

10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isa. 44:6.

6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
Isa. 44:8.

8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
Isa. 45:3.

3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
Isa. 45:5-6.

5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
Isa. 45:18.

18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
Isa. 45:21-22.

21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Isa. 46:9.

9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

(In the monotheistic religion of Abraham and Moses the seed of Abraham learned the Old Covenant scriptures well. They also knew these verses in Isaiah perfectly well. With these scriptures coming from one of the most powerful prophets of God ever in history is it any wonder the early Apostolic Jewish Christians and traditional Jews rejected the theory of a trinity godhead system? To the Christian Jews and traditional Jews alike in early church history this trinity thing was nothing more than a new twist of old pagan idolatry. This was especially true when the early Trinitarians started making statues and paintings illustrating the so called three separate persons in heaven. It is also very evident from these scripture verses in Isaiah there never has been nor is there a co-eternal godhead of three persons dwelling in heaven. Here again the "Bible" confirms the non-existence of the Christian trinity.)

The trinity teaches the first person in the godhead "Father" is the father of Jesus Christ.

Matt. 1:18.

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

(Here we can clearly see the deception of the trinity. If the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost were three separate persons then Jesus did not know who his father was when he prayed to his Father. The reason being trinity believers are taught anytime Jesus prayed to his father he was praying to the 1st person of the trinity godhead. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The reason being the "Bible" teaches the Holy Ghost is the father of Jesus Christ.)

The trinity teaches that Jesus Christ is the second person in the godhead.

Col. 1:19.

19 For it pleased the Father (Holy Spirit) that in him (Jesus Christ) should all fulness dwell;
Col. 2:8-13.

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9 For in him DWELLETH ALL THE FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY.

10 And ye are complete in him, WHICH IS THE HEAD OF ALL PRINCIPALITY AND POWER:

11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
1 Tim. 3:16.

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD (Jesus Christ) WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Isa. 9:6.

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name (Jesus Christ) shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

(There is no other teaching that is more repugnant to the Lord than the trinity teaching that Jesus Christ is in second position in the godhead. Being the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's he is the fulness of the godhead manifested in the flesh. While the Great Spirit has always been and will always be, Jesus Christ is the visible human manifestation of the invisible Holy Spirit.)

The trinity teaches the three persons of the godhead are co-powerful in authority.

Matt. 28:18.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, ALL POWER is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

(Here we see another contradiction between the trinity and the Word of God. The Word tell us Jesus has ALL POWER. If he has all power this then leaves no power for the so called 1st and 3rd persons if there were three persons.)

As we look at the theory of the trinity in light of the scriptures it is very evident the Church Fathers using Scholastic Theology to develop the theory of a Christian trinity made some very bad interpretational errors of the scriptures they use to prove the trinity. In addition most of the scriptures in the Word of God which clearly show there cannot be a Christian trinity they clearly ignored.

In this process of picking and choosing one key word has been clearly ignored throughout the history of the trinity movement. This word is MANIFESTATION. In the Bible we know the following about God. He is an invisible Holy Spirit who is omnipresent in existence. Since he is invisible with no confinement in form the only way we can see and feel him is by MANIFESTATIONS. The word manifestation means to make visible and to make someone aware of.

Examples of Biblical manifestations of God are: the voice of God speaking in the garden and in the burning bush, the pillars of fire and smoke, the great I AM revelation, the voice and fire on Mt Sinai, the glory of God on the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies, the Angel of the Lord, the Death Angel, the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, the Holy Ghost in regeneration, the Ancient of days on the throne, the Lord Jesus Christ on the throne, the Son, dove, and voice at the baptism of Jesus Christ by John.

These many manifestations of God are all important to students of religious history and reveal the diverse nature and power of the one true God. What the authors of the Christian trinity did was select three of these manifestation and turn them into human like persons and the theory of the trinity while at the same time ignoring the complete nature and power of our God. In modern day terms the Church Fathers put God in a human shoe box called the trinity and then said, to be Christian, and to be saved, one had to believe the trinity and bow to it. This is not salvation because the Word of God does not support trinity doctrine.

As stated before. The change in water baptism by Justin Martyr and the development of the different trinities represents change in the gospel of salvation of the Apostles. These changes can only result in one thing, the curse of God and the loss of salvation to all who follow these changes.

Please forget about legalization for the now until you have been granted visa for study purpose.

I have to render this help to those who may be interested in studying these four fields with Czech University of Life Sciences,Praha

1. Bachelor's in Informatics(English Tuition)
2. Bachelor's in Agricultural Economics and Management(English Tuition)
3. Master's in Informatics(English Tuition)
4. Master's in Economics and Management(English Tuition)

The Bachelor's courses are for students with Science and Social Sciences(Commercial subjects) background.

Both Master courses can be done by any university graduate with minimum of 2.2,what matters most is your motivation to study.

If you cannot pay the application fees of 500CZK or so in Nigeria, I have spoken to one  the International Officers in charge of the courses stipulated above and he has informed me to get the needed documents from Nigerian applicants.

This is a voluntary service and I would plead you stick with the required documentations and timeline.

Of utmost importance is for you to fill the form online in the school's application portal, sign it and send me the documents herein listed.

Prospective Bachelor's students are advised to forward online signed application form(printed pdf), SSCE result, a copy of bio-data page of International Passport and CV (Bsc Applicants Only) to danoanizor@gmail.com

For Master's applicants, you need only a copy of bio-data page of International Passport,CV, Bsc certificate or statement of result, online signed application form(printed pdf) and Transcript to danoanizor@gmail.com

I do expect to get these copies on or before 10th March,2012. Admission deadline is on the 15th March,2012.

Please do not flood the email with irrelevant documents. I would appreciate, you forward the appropriate documents as stated.

Please endeavour to have your email address on your CV.

I am not assuring anyone admission or study visa, its just a way of assisting serious minded students.I am not an admission officer neither am I a consulate officer.

Others who might be interested in other programmes within this same university or schools within CZ should communicate directly with the concerned international admission officers.

@the last two posters, I believe you would need to have your secondary school transcript. I do not have a concrete solution but I promised to get across to a junior colleague who might be of help in addressing your question. More so, I do not know how much the school fees is. If its possible, I do advise you call the appropriate body in charge of the admission you are interested in.

Generally, Czechs have poor attitude to responding to mails written in English language of course for obvious reasons-language barrier. So,call to find out all you need whenever you do not get feedback(s).

I hope this helps.

Methinks the Nigerian society is in a deep moral mess.We are too materialistic a people and we do not have values as a society when it comes to money matters. Of course, this kind of sham marriage is common across the globe but its much more prevalent to Nigerians.

We are in a sick society and I have always known that Nigerians have lost touch of values, what beats my imagination the most these days is that our parents and religious leaders hardly ask their wards and sheep respectively how they went about acquiring their money or wealth so to speak.

The poor chap epitomizes the Naija attitude of breaking away from poverty at all cost syndrome. This is so ludicrous!

The earlier we started paying less attention to materialism, the better the Naija society.
Travel / Re: Offer Of Advice For Interest In Studying In Czech by nedostic: 9:24pm On Feb 14, 2012
@ last poster,

You can cope.I am sure an average Naija student is good enough to cope in any academic environment given the naija resilience. The pass mark is 50. For tutorials and group works, yes, we have similar structure here. As a matter of fact, my African colleagues in my class and I do have a platform where we exchange ideas, after all, no man is a monopoly of knowledge,

CULS is research oriented like I did state in my previous post(s),you have got to write papers(projects) on virtually all the courses and do presentations as well

To me what counts is knowing what you want here because there are so many distractions. So, this is a personal decision and your primary motive of coming over here. If you are coming over for study,I would implore the incomer to make good use of the opportunity and move on swiftly with his/her life ambition(s). I must equally reiterate that here is not an eldorado and getting a job is quite tough but not impossible.

For now, the most important thing is for you to package your application and apply to the school of your choice. I,for one, does not fancy students coming over here to study in Czech Language, though its usually free but I do not think it is good enough except one wants to stay put within CZ

On a final note, lets use the power of GOOGLE and other search engines for searching out INFO on anything you might be interested in knowing about studies in CZ and perhaps other countries.

I hope this helps.

The program provides two state-commissioned places for studies, which exempts from tuition fee (deadline for applying for state-commissioned place is 1 July, 2012).

All foreign students are encouraged to apply for the Ragnar Nurkse scholarship, named after probably the most internationally recognized Estonian scientist of the 20th century. The scholarship, in the amount of 7200 euros, will be financed through the budget of TUT Department of Public Administration and it will be awarded to a student who will start his/her studies at the MA in Technology Governance programme in the academic year 2012/2013.

The scholarship recipient will be selected on the basis of candidates’ previous professional and academic accomplishments (minimum GPA to be considered for selection is 3.5). The application should also include a recommendation letter from one of student’s previous professors. Finally, student’s MA thesis proposal will be evaluated to determine whether it has the potential to create new knowledge and could be converted into a journal article.

Please send scholarship applications (a 1-2 page letter describing your thesis proposal and previous professional experience; proof of previous academic results; CV; academic recommendation letter) and other inquiries to Rainer Kattel at rainer.kattel@ttu.ee no later than May 31st 2012. Please use .pdf files.

In addition, 6 foreign students can apply for reimbursement of costs, related to obtaining visa, arranging health insurance and travelling to Estonia. The program will also support you in applying for scholarships from your home country or international or charitable organizations.

PhD students from universities around the world are encouraged to apply for the DoRa 5 scholarships for short term (3-10 months) study visits. TUT Deparment of Public Administration has hosted under this framework PhD students from Jawaharlal Nehru University (India) and Florida International University (USA). Interested applicants should contact DPA Director Rainer Kattel.

@ the last poster and perhaps others,

I would advise you to route the payment through a friend who is based in Europe to effect the payment on your behalf.I am not in the know of the current exchange rate but I am sure its about 5500(Naira).

You are right with I am studying. The standard is good but it calls for improvement as well considering the fact that English is a second language. Most of the lecturers are Czechs with one or two English native speakers. There is no doubting the fact that our English is better but one must equally consider that accent differs. Aside language, the standard is quite high considering the fact that virtually all the courses are projects oriented. Its a different ball game compared to Naija education. Here, you have got to be studious but I am sure if you are quite a good student in Naija you would easily cope with the new demands of academics.

Lifestyle in CZ depends on you. Prague is one of the major hubs of tourism in Europe. So you can imagine life in Prague! It's a beautiful city but with scarce opportunities for African students. For food, it depends on what like eating.More so,there are African food but quite expensive.

Well,it would be good you try learning the language as soon as you are here but it equally depends on your long-term objective(s).

Common! As regards extracurricular activities and the last question. It depends on what you want as an individual.More so, there are so many African students here in CZ.You can look it up on facebook.

I hope this candid opinion of mine helps.

@OP, I have an idea on study in Estonia. For more info please check out these two schools. www.ut.ee and www.ttu.ee
They are the top ranking schools in Estonia. They have so many programmes in English. More so, if you have made a good grade in your Bachelor's Diploma you might be lucky to get a scholarship.

Estonia is a good place for study purpose because the school fees are not so high. More so, these two schools have collaborations with other leading schools across Europe and Australia.

Please I would want you to surf the NET for more info. I hope this helps. I am not sure I would be entertaining any further question on this thread.I am imploring you to do your own bit with the info I have given you.Have a great day!

@crossman9 , Please you do not have to join issue with the Muslim chap-sweetcna. I believe you do not need to react whatever he puts up. Its obvious we are seeing things from different perspectives. The living God-Jehovah we serve is definitely different from Allah. This statement does not mean to disparage the Moslem folks.

Crossman9, I beg to differ that prosperity is not part of the gospel. I might not be too good on biblical quotations but I must frankly say that prosperity is closely knitted to the good news. 3John2 succinctly depicts this. More so, King David,King Solomon, Daniel,et al including the Patriarch- Abraham lived in abundance.

The Most High has not changed, He is still the same everyday! No wonder the Bible refers to the Most High as Ancient of Days!

My take on this is that most of the modern day pastors have failed to tell their congregation that prosperity is all encompassing and of essence is the prosperity of the soul.I believe a good mix of prosperity message and sound doctrines on godly virtues hold the ace to living a triumphant life on earth.

More so, I despise the ways most of the so called modern day pastors are going about the prosperity message. Let me state here without mincing words that we cannot bribe Jehovah with our offerings and tithes.

I have had and equally heard of experiences where some men of God are habitually involved in Bazaar offering in the church. This is fundamentally wrong in Christendom since it lacks biblical injunctions.

As a matter of fact Christians should prosper but contentment with love should be key. Let us as Christians help in making the world a better place for the less privileged. We must go back to what the early Christians did-they had things in common and share amongst themselves

By and large, as Christians our first love must be the Lord Jesus Christ and if we profess Christ as our first love, we must learn to love our ourselves and love is demonstrative going by what the Lord did for us on the cross.

I hope this helps in lifting up our souls. I have not written this to join issues with anyone. I believe the import of this post is to re-awaken our spirits on the need to be watchful of the the so called false teachers and to be guided by the only truth and nothing more-the Bible.

@Poster, please educate us more on this. This to me would be the key to unlocking some of the so called puzzles in the Bible.

No wonder the apostles did baptize people in the name of Jesus Christ! I am yet to fully grasp with this because Jesus Christ instructed in the Bible to baptize in the name of the Father,Son and Holy Spirit.

I am yet to find out in the Bible where the apostles or disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ did baptize in the name of Father,Son and Holy Spirit.

Please elucidate. Its an amazing topic for discuss.
Religion / Sound Biblical Teaching On Daniel 7 Vs 13 Needed by nedostic: 10:13am On Feb 08, 2012
Please someone on this forum with sound biblical doctrine should explain what the below Bible verse means.

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him(KING JAMES VERSION)

Who could this son of man be? Could these words be in symbolism since its a vision?

Frankly speaking, I have reservations on TRINITY even though I was brought up with this knowledge. More so, there is no where in the Bible that talks about Trinity but reading some verses of the Bible makes me to still believe in it in a way.

Please address the Bible verse above and perhaps share your frank idea(s) of TRINITY with biblical evidences as well.

I hope this question helps in lifting up our faith in the most High God. There is a caveat to this post,I cherish positive contributions and nothing less.

@ all, why all these abusive words on one another. Lets give credit to Lagbaja who brought out the real picture of the story.I believe of much import to this erroneous headline is the need for nairalanders to always investigate and verify any info prior to posting.I would plead we learn to be civilized in our critique and equally have scientific approaches to discuss.

@ all, I would insist if you are coming to CZ for study purpose, its much advisable to study in an english programme but I am not trying to discourage others who have genuine intentions to studying in czech language. The language is only spoken within CZ so it has its limitations but you can take the positives out of it as well .

In case anyone is interested in Msc Environmental Modelling(english based), you can apply to Czech University of Life Sciences,Praha. The tuition fess is quite affordable-about 500EUR per academic session. The application deadline is March 15,2012. You have got to pay 550CZk as application fees.

On a final note, please take out time to explore the Web on schooling in CZ for those who are interested.

This info is for prospective Master's applicants but bias in Engineering or Sciences. Czech Technical University,Praha has some tuition free programes. Most notably is the Transatlantic dual degree Programme (Msc Transportation and Logistics Systems) offered by CTU,UNIZA(both schools are in CZ) and UTEP,USA.

More so, Msc Intelligent Transportation Systems is a joint degree programme between CTU and University of Linkoping,Sweden or possibly another Austrian University.

These other programmes- Msc Civil Engineering Building Structures,Buildings and Environments, and Civil Engineering:Computational Engineering in Advanced Design are all tuition free and most importantly taught in English Language.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact the school(CTU,Praha) for further info in case you might be interested. CTU is one of the top schools in the world as well.

@the last two posters, I am studying here in CZ,precisely Master's in Informatics at Czech University of Life Sciences. In terms of cost of living its moderate but it depends more so on your lifestyle. For application, please do well to contact the international office(s) of the school(s) you might be interested in. Some studies are in english medium in most of the CZ schools but you have gotta pay as well except you are lucky enough to get their scholarships which is much rare for Nigerians to get. In case you are interested in scholarship opportunity, please do well to check on the CZ embassy,Abuja website for more info on scholarship.

Racism is uncommon here but it still exists anyway. In terms of work opportunities, they are quite limited but one might be fortunate enough to get some menial jobs. Also, if you have technical skills mostly in the area of computing this could be a vantage position over others. The language is equally a plus if you can speak it. Learning another european language aside english gives one an edge.

In case you want to more about life and study here in CZ please visit this site for more info www.studyin.cz

As regards visa issuance, its tough in a way but I believe if you have got the right documents and equally composure and mien on the interview date might be deciding factors. Also, prayers should be your last resort. This is just my view. The bottom line is doing the needful in terms of paper documentations.

I hope this helps.
