Music/Radio / Chaz B Now In Rhthym FM? by newman10(m): 8:31pm On Apr 23
Former Inspiration FM Radio presenter, Chaz B may have joined Rythym FM. I heard it briefly this evening on Rythym 93.7.
His programme "Sharing life issues" is still the title of his show on Rythym. Time is some minutes after 6pm, Monday through Friday. Anyone listen to him yet? Is Inspiration FM going to loose anything at all?
Whats your view?

It beats me why people starts crying foul when theses stuffs are blocked by the isp's no sooner than it was discovered. Must you for pete's sake put everything on the internet? Or is it that you simply want credit for what people have been using long before you think you discovered it?
Most times I'm tempted to ponder on how how old Luluosas is, because he is on every thread like this. He usually escalates things like this.
No dissing intended but lets all keep mum about these stuffs and you will enjoy it for long.
Sure I expect Mr Luluosas to pounce on me for this, but do I care undecided undecided

You are wrong sir. Currently I'm using the sim 2 and its on HSDPA+. Both sims on the galaxy grand can be on 3G but the other sim will have to be on 2G

grin grin grin grin

first world problems.

when u enter the service menu, u did not see a small box that has a drop down menu?

that menu has all the bands/network modes the phone is capable of.

one of them is WCDMA ONLY OR HSDPA ONLY or UMTS OONLY

thats the 3G only option. select that

other than the fact that i haven’t checked a Galaxy Grand setting page personally, i know samsung uses the exact same menu on all its phones and right under the mobile networks settings, the network mode has GSM/WCDMA (AUTO MODE), GSM ONLY, WCDMA ONLY.

wcdma only/umts only/hsdpa only is the 3G option.

if neither of these 2 options work, pls leave the phone be and use it like that

My Oga thank you so much. The grand is a dual sim phone. I guess that account for why i didnt see any drop down menu when I input the *#*# bla bla bla and yes i know 3G is the same as WCDMA, UMTS and HSDPA. I have previously used a galaxy s2 and s duos. Both of them has the WCDMA only option. So I know what I'm saying. I guess I have to use the phone just like that. I will upload the screen shot sha

Android family, I greet you all. My samsung galaxy grand does not have the option of 3G only in its Internet settings. I've used the code *#*#4 bla bla bla and installed this app "3G only" from playstore, still none has worked. I've gone to xda forum and posted the problem there, search Google. Anyone have any idea what I can do again? Btw it's on JB

Leopantro: can we please have a moment of silence, for the death of blackberry unlimited data plan and VPN browsing.

seriously, can 50mb be enough for BBM for a week? even with the compression rate of 1:1000?

1 week can not be 50mb. Reason: one month is 3Gig arcording to what I heard.

In case you dont know, it can now be used on other non bb devices.

@4ller, I must have done a factory reset like a hundred times. Before the factory reset, it won't go pass the SAMSUNG logo. It was after the reset that it got to the stage in the pic above.

@ all, my bad I didn't check well before posting that there is no rom for it yet. Like I said in my first post, I downloaded BEAT AUDIO. It was in the process of rebooting that it got stuck there. I am pretty sure its the beat audio software that messing it up. I'm in the process of downloading the rom which is about 800mb. The problem now is that the hotfile link is not a resumable link as I don't have a premium account. Network is so crappy in my area. All link I've seen is a hotfile link.

@newman10

Lesson: Never ever flash anything (mods that is) without making a nandroid backup BEFORE flashing

if you dont know what a nandroid backup is, then u should never have flashed anything sef. sad sad

Now i am not sure u can get out of this without losing data

first thing is what type of ROM are you on? STOCK or CUSTOM?

Are you on STOCK KERNEL or CUSTOM KERNEL?

Actually u need to be on a custom kernel to do any of the following.

if you are not, or dont know how to get one. FOLLOW WHAT BRAINREX SAID AND FLASH A STOCK ROM WITH PC ODIN.
if you cannot do that or dont know how, GET SOMEONE WHO DOES. dont be a hero

on a custom kernel, boot into recovery (3 finger salute) hold power, home and Volume Up buttons at the same time and dont let go till it boots into recovery.

wipe cache, dalvik cache and fix permissions.

reboot.

if it does not work

3 finger salute into recovery again.

this time do a factory reset.

reboot.

if it does not work

Flash a stock rom via PC ODIN.

Done all the above except flash stock rom with odin
