I find it quite a chore keeping a personal dairy or putting down views and feelimgs on topical issues to paper. So doing this on the net to a wider audience than just myself is akin to embarking into the great unknown. Not withstanding and like that great gospel hymn 'unward christian soldiers' I shall none the less march on.
I figure folk may want to know a wee bit about me. so here goes. Dwell in scotland not UK but Scotland. . .there is a difference trust me, you will not know untill you visit. The folk here are as different from the rest of Britain as can be and they let you know it. Dont make the mistake of calling a Scottish man Bitish or worst still English. You run the risk of getting a Glaswegian kiss (a head but to the nose) be warned. Auld Reekie has been my city for the last 12 years.
I work here too, the nature of what I do and anything else about me will gradually unfold as my posts begin to gather pace. So thats enough about me. I also appreciate that some folk may want to get in touch for what ever reason. Nae bother, you can do that at mister871@googlemail.com.

Ok lets get into it. Having lived in the West for most of my informed life, it is easier for one to take a very liberal approach on a lot of isues. Some of these issues have formed the basis, to a greater extent of an African upbringing. For example religion. Be it Chriatianity of Islam we are taught to adhere strictly to religious requirements as children growing up, you must go to the mosque or church. That is definately not the case here. The issue of religion is for another time.

As an opener to this journal/diary I would like to talk about the 'black woman'. Its kinda ironical that a black woman is in the centre of a huge controversy right now. Is Castor Semenya male or female. Here we are in the 21st century and a female athelete, an 18 year old South African is being asked to prove her gender. Now wether Semenya is male or female is not for me the issue here. The mismanagement of this matter on such a world stage to an individual this young just makes me wonder what the real agenda here is.

Not very long ago dating a black woman was something that never really crossed my mind, and if it did it was only for less than a nano second as getting a white chick on your arm was the way to go. . .I guess its still thesame for some black guys today. For whatever reason dating a black girl was just no cool. So for years I was strictly whites only. To be continued. . . .
