My dear, i commend your endurance. I am sooooo allergic to pugnant smells that i likely would have bailed out if i were you. But the truth be told a lot of guys need to be told a lot of things (u know, no matter how tall or old they seem to have grown, they are still babies) so Sis let me offer you a strategy. Go to his house very very early one morning, when he'll likely still be in bed and you'll be the one to wake him up. When he has gotten over the delight of seeing u (don't go too close, u know how the mouth is in the mornings, lol, just kidding). And he wants to brush his mouth, follow him there. U can start a particular jist immediately u enter the house and then follow him around like a shadow as u continue the jist, watch him brush and gently point out the way it should be done (mind u, u are still jisting). And then, u'D say something like, aren't u going to brush your tongue? Where's your mouth wash? and so on, that way, he'D never guess your mission. All the best. hope your relationship works out. @ All Mouth odour is caused basically by bad hygiene and can be mended easily with good hygiene. Brushing properly, brushing after every meal, avoiding sweet things as last meals at night without brushing(sweets, chocolate, ice cream, dodo, chewing gum etc), seeing the dentist (scaling and polishing yearly), flossing and so on. LOL.

The mission continues, If u find that he has no mouth wash, then feel free to invade his house with Listerine, Brett and all other brands of Mouthwash,(the more the merrier ). Plus menthols of Vicks, Tom Tom, Ice mint etc. If u can, get him a Mouth Spray. If there's no improvement, then U might have to break the news to him as gently as possible so that he can visit a specialist. About 90% of mouth odor arises from poor dental hygiene the remaining 10% are pathological that may need serious medical help. If u feel the guy is worth the trouble, don't hesitate to try what i've said. All da best!!!!!

What about just telling him a list of things that put you off people. Then when you mention bad breath, you really emphasise it and say that people ought to brush after each meal or in the morning and before going to bed in the night. I guess he will get the gist and adjust. If he still doesnt get it, tell him he needs to chew gum or lick tom tom regularly. I agree with this. I always talk about how i change my brush every 2 months and find people that don't wash their tongues disgusting. It works.

I will go with D-reloaded's first post and jujintu's own. . . brush ya teeth twice a day, NO! as if ibe punishment @poster, try and buy him good toothpaste, change his toothbrush regularly for him, encourage him to "scrub" on his tongue well well whenever he's brushing, and twice a day too. . . . do this in a matured way, be careful. . lest u offend him. Gd luck.

I watched a Tyra Banks show once. She featured a very beautiful lady of 29 who had never really kissed a guy because she had a sever case of bad breath.
She was so devastated that she had gone as far as using bleach just to get rid of the odour. She had gone everywhere and done everything possible and she had even contemplated suicide. She was also used used to laying back when she talks to people and I couldn't help but feel very bad for her. The only thing Tyra could do for her was to pay for a psychologist who will teach her to accept and love herself the way she is.
Now, have you considered that this could be the case with your new found love? What if he brushes 10 times a day and eats mint all day long and he just still has the mouth odor? The only way to find out about this is to talk about it. It's totally immature to make excuses and avoid the topic. Then, help him to eliminate the odor if it's possible with all the suggestions above, otherwise, you might have to either learn to live with it or leave the relationship.

Halitosis is curable. It might just be a bad tooth or inflammed tonsils.Hold his hand, look into his eyes, tell him you love him and gently ask him to sort out his bad breath, and if he can't you will still love him.Trust me he will see a dentist/doctor

don't repeat what he knows already, what he does not know is the solution to the problem so provide one. Even if don't accept his kisses, at least you know you have helped solve a problem. Educate him on what he can do do supress the odour even if the odour does not disappear can be suppressed.

Well if you love this guy, stay in good mood with him, let him know the bad part of him, in a very polite way. or you can go get the some treatment pretend like this: sweethear1 I realise people easily contact mouth odour, I came across this treatment, for me and you , So that we will not contact such a disgracing odour, But sweetheart I think you will take much than me, becuse it is common among men than women, Men? Don't mention Well try this and i will tell you what next to do.

Oh Please. All that heifer needed was a dentist or a doctor. She just went to Tyra crying so she could pay her medical bills for her since alot of talkshow hots Oprah esp tend to pay for certain things if they feel badly enough for you.

Give him constant supply of mints and mouthwash. Some people don't take this lightly, so be ready for a war. Depending on how bouyant he is, advise him to see a dentist for cleaning every 6 month. The average naija man won't go until e get toothache.
