And the exams i have to do

I have written some papers
And its just been cha cha

You said i don’t have to pass
To get to the next class

But I have no next class to pass to
Because im graduating in june.

You don’t know lecturers in my school
They are all very prude!

My looks sef no go do nothing
I just have to sit down and read something!

Thanks for caring
My burdens i will continue sharing

Omo Colors
Dont take what i said wrong oh!

Girls are smart o, if not smarter
Than all of them guys wey no gather

Anyways,
I'm really sorry about the news you heard
I also got some really depressing news myself

I will pray for you surely
You must get that job immediately

Weeping will solve nothing
Go and do some hunting

It will not be in vain
Great pay you will gain

Now now, i have to get back to reading!
My examinations i have tomorow rnt easy!

So be good
i will see ya soon!

colours welcome back
we really missed your pack
and thanks BTT
though i dnt get the facts

, For a no good thief.  Sad

the rich, the poor
live under the sun
they feel its pour
but yet live on

he lives with them
but comes from a different stem
for he lives a lie
of what he's not
and choose to die
for a useless cause
a walking ghost
with no living goal

so i don't care an inch
whatever happens to him
neither would i flinch
if deaths fells him in the chin
a carefree life he already lives
so what's the pain to feel
if its taken frm him

and my greatest pray
is that the Karma lord
take him away
with a Sword or a gun

hmhm, what a niz sow of talent.
here's mine, i expect its crap bt please pardon.

aunty nana likes to holla
most times because of banana

she's such a freak
especially when she falls for a trick

haba i would say
i wish she were gay

she keeps a few pals
and hardly ever receives calls
oops she loves to play balls

one day in the pub
she came into the tub
soaked  all over with suds

if momma plans to travel
my best bet is to raise an upheaval

because we'll be stuck with her
all alone in our little lodger

wonders shall never and
she managed to hook herself her husband
there was a loud band
at their wedding stand
at last my sibs and i were free

this life is such a mystery
with so much of a history
out of it all comes misery
it all boils down to penury
if you happen to have no pedigree

watch out my little dear
look out of the cab just out of fear
use the baffs so much they have to tear
at a time u anything at all to wear

here's another
sad story of a crazy fellow
who was so foolish to follow
all those evil fellas
he ended with a hollow
on the deeps of his fragile marrow
he had to borrow
some bits and pieces from their harrows.

thumbs up to colours, gamine, princessa and soul thief. u 9ralannders are really good.keep it real!!!!!!!!

@ angel empy
thanks for the thumps up  Cool

here's another

. .  . . . for my brother int he lord

if the world uncessantly say
you are a no good Godly Pauper
don't say lots, but say this world proper
i come from a kingdom far above your gaze

if they say you can never be rich
take heart brother thats not the call
seek first his ways then all
will be given way above your dreams

from them will always emenate
the stinking lying odour
but you alone have the ardour
of a prince in a castle emirate

for the lord has said you are free
you are free indeed my brother
no need to ever bother
for the lamb has paid all your fee

and to crown it all you have a crown
far above any human Glory
So don’t listen to tale of worldly story
For the Lord has made u a king in his town

      to rap to the top

Maybe you can rap like sasha
      and make people halla

Am running to make you be my hunny
hear to my calling
even though I have no money
to take you out for shopping

I want you here
to come wipe away my tears

My love for you is lika dove
that will grow till we old

Lets keep to our says
so that our days
will be full of praise

I found myself in the ocean
searching for passion
then I found you as my solution

you are too xpensive
so I can't afford to dispence you.

Our wold of mission
without vision
all they knw is election
God we seek your intervention
in our nationn.

worthy buyers will soon find need of you

hey thanks wisyno
to rap like sasha,  hell no

but then again you just never know
i'll think about it and maybe give it a go

for my look i'm thinking dreads or  afro
but this will take a while as my hair has to grow

really wish i could drop lines  like kanye west
but then i'll have to work on my rapping skills first

but hey i've to face reality
back to my true ability

which is writing rhymes  on nairaland
hoping to be recognised one day by my fatherland

Re: Rhymes

waz up colors, and every big deal on rhymes.

here's mine for today.
i used to believe
it takes love to live

even when no one really wanted to see my face
i had to try to keep up the pace
and be careful about mom's lace

they used to say i am ugly
so much  i asked God why me only?
mom would nag at my folly
made me wish i was in uni!

my sibs  would cry fowl
and end up keeping me in a hole
haba, what can i do when all they do is howl

i never made friends
for fear of meeting fiends
i didnt bother with the trends
you know i can't use threads

but give me a break
i am such a book freak
oh how i love streaks

u can say book worm
yet i ma never even warm
when the cold sips into the farm.

i know my stuff isnt really nice.u can ignore it if u are bored!!!!

every new day
i love to stand and say
thank you for today

i greet each new dawn
with a bright smile
though i love to frown
and look serious
the charm in my smile soothes my heart
when the day disappoints me

i love to cry
in the privacy of my bathroom
because i think better
when i am am in the gloom

but a smile is divine
and leaves my day in the vine
the dawn like a new wine
how i love to dine
alone in the mine
of my muse!

wow,  hi colors
i guess your life is full of colors

You rap like u've been there a lifetime
Just hope u'll fulfill that dream in due time

Said u weeped because u wanted a job
Do anything but don't try to rob

just strolled into this thread
when my relationship was turning into shreds

Don't think i'm worrying
'Cos i don't intend to leave this world in a hurry

Guys, you all made my day
But i hope its not going to be only today

I'm sending ya'll one peck on the right chick
You made my day so i'll pay the check

But hope ya'll aren't wondering what the heck?
Cos i cld kick your butt off the deck

hope u enjoyed the content

 hi everyone and thanks jk-pretty
but right now lets go back to the nitty-gritty

i'm not a football fan
men running after a ball? i think there should be a ban

too bad nigeria lost
but is winning really a must?

sorry to all soccer fans i offend
but hey, before you rush to quickly defend

listen! millions of nigerians who can't afford to feed
waste valuable time watching what isnt a need

while we watch, the footballers are getting paid
but the masses are not! i guess enough said

we should use football time to hustle
so at night a meal we can rustle

my aunt nearly cried after nigeria's loss
would she have done the same if it was a sack from her boss?

lets put first things first
instead of us wasting our zest

screaming off side or its a goal!
lets come together  as a whole

and fight poverty and corruption
maybe even HIV and abortion!!!!!

hey gamine, how has the examination been
i'm sure you must be stressed and even a bit lean

remember what i previously said
you don't have to read like a little nerd

a smile in the right direction
will ensure the much needed affection

from your lecherous teacher
who will be asking people, that girl gamine how can i reach her Wink

just be sure to drop your numba
and with his assurance of all A's you can afford to dance the rumba Grin Grin Grin

WAITING

its been nearly 25 years and i'm still waiting
right now it's so hard but i'm trying to put some faith in

dear God i wish my faith was stronger
i don't know if i can hold out much longer

why does it have to be so damn hard
to fulfill my dreams, i'm just so sad

sometimes i feel like i'm going crazy
i gaze into my future and everything seems so hazy

these days i'm so melancholic
its a wonder i'm not an alchoholic

hey, i've run out of words to say
so i'll keep waiting for a miracle, who knows it just might be today
