UnWAITING

wont someone tell me
what 2 tell COLOURS
to stop her getting crazy
can't she see d vision aint any longer hazy!

Waiting 4 25 years baby
meant your faith has been really strong
because u av not waited really 2 long

Some say life is absurd and oblong
The more reason many people want to belong

Keep dreamin
with your hope beamin
It may trully seem hard
To get your voice heard

So when life deals u a deathly blow
Baby, just keep your stand in the flow

At evenin when the tables turn around
You wouldnt have gone so much aground

But when all things fail again
take a look at my signature strain*

Because I have to say them
I wrote you this little poem

PS
Wot happened
To d first teddy tale I told

*Wen u kno wia. . .

Can some one tell me why
Life's so confusing even when we try

what's the thing with love
that's its all we got to have

I wish we never have to marry
Cos the road to get a man is full of worry

I know in my heart of hearts i would love to be in love again
But i'm just scared i might be left with pain to bargain

A man of my own will be my greatest joy
Who won't play with my life as a toy

But one who would love me & i'll love in return
Because i just hate to loved by someone & i can't return

God i hope i've paid the price of the hurts i've caused people
Please give me another chance for true love, make it possible

This is my silent prayer
I take it to God hoping for an answer

jkpretty don't worry
you will still find a man who will be for you
cheers  Kiss

THE SECRET PLACE

I am already here waiting here for you my love
for u knw there is where to find me
this unworthy sacred place built by us
far away from the illegal eyes of the family
and the class dividing mind of the society

nothing else count here apart from us
for the space we have here is enough
to hold and make us laugh, the short time long
a little time not to think about the husband, children and wives
but to take the fun we can of our lives

here, the sensational sound of your breath
shall be my music life and health
u just hold my hands and tell me about the stress
and we together will laugh all the day silly mess

so, am here once again . . . . . . . waithing
this boring, cold unfilling day is over
when will you come to startle me over
for us to new pleasing things discover
and anything to stop that fun, we will be hating
Now you are here . . . . don't rush, for this will last forever

    Hey colors, your rhymes expression
gives my rhymic being a great impression

To say i fancy your statement
     is but an understatement

Girls like you should be appreciated
so that your gift won't be depreciated

      If you can wisely invest
      you will greatly harvest

      You are not an amateur
so don't worry about the future

This is not to toast you
but just to boast you   Wink

Oh thanx a lot princesa dearie
For those kind words i'll give u a cherie

Right now i'm fagged out & retiring for the day
Looking for some place to hang out and spend my pay

Just remembering i'm lonely, in a dry town
Maybe i'll just go home and lie down

I'll plug in my ear phone
Blasting my MP3 in a low tone

I guess that's the best way i can spend my friday night
Since i can't go out alone, i've improvised to make it tight.

Catch y'all next week
Trust me in these poems i won't return weak Kiss

if you take a walk in the streets
you will be bothered by the treats
that await your  feet

imagine all the cute gals -ashewo
and all the bearded old men -babalawo
little  wonder most of them are from edo

u will find suya sellers
and kunu hawkers
thats if its at night

lots of bad air
and foolish fair
lots to make u stare

in a naija night
there should be no light
yet its dark only in your might
some guys take time to shigt
while others only fight

in a naija night!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Colors,how do you do
Whats been happening with you

Finally im through!
Those Exams were too cool!

Yeah, im lean as a stick
Stressed but not  sick!

Dont worry your advice was fun
Just wont work
Where im from.

Anyways whats up on the job front
Considering any particular sort?

Don’t settle for less
Work that would give you unnecessary stress!

Waiting?
What r u waiting for
Look its quarter past one
Why don’t you go and see a pastor
You should seek the Lord more

Sit down, take time to study the bible
Something will be revealed ending your struggle!

You may have fallen
But your still chosen
By the One
By the Son.

@jkpretty
Thanks for the wishes
As for fishes
I don’t cook
But if you know where to look
Youd find someone who would

Then again concerning love and men
Don’t spend your time thinking about them

Really, focus on you and God
Soon you will find your true love
Youve done the right thing by taking it to the Lord
Cos he is the only one
Who can give you that special someone

Cos he alone knoes what you need
The kind of man who is with out greed
A guy who will heal
And not steal.
I will pray for you
Even as i pray for evrywoman who wants one too

Quote
Gamine, please go to school
Read your books and perfect your rhymes
So we can all dance out of pain
And beat the times.

BTT, i don’t get you
I'm already in school!
What do you mean by dance out of pain?
Do my rhymes give you such strain?
Beat the times, wha r u saying?
Which times?, its like your braying!

Whoosh, i have to go get some food
I must satisfy my tummy real good!

See you all later
Keep up the rhymes and forgive any hater!

Glad to know your exams went good
i don't expect anything less, that would be odd

Especially with the prayers and encouragement
For by God, we expect no bewilderment

i hope the advice by colors were not forsaken

Did u give your lecturers the flunt of what u've got
to earn u a future to soon begat

lol, not to worry i think i know your school,
Best friend with your books will be the only tool

wow, its cool to know u'r graduating soon from canaan land

Life is a food which can be delicious
but when you are broke, it seems ridiculous

the past can be a weapon
on which we can tap on

it's possible to lose sight of affection
when you get carried away by emotions
and it may appear as one big frustration

if you can lay your thoughts bare
you will definitely make me care  Smiley

hi everyone,  how was the weekend, great i hope. it feels good to be back. thanks also for the accolades.  well i was checking through my archives last night and i stumbled upon something i wrote about four years back. i had a laugh and decided to share it with you guys.

UNTITLED 1

imprisoned without chains; living with so much pain, a life without gain.
somedays i fear i'll go insane because theres so much thinking in my brain.
hoping for the sun after the rain but alas my reality i cannot feign,
my predicament i cannot explain.
perhaps its my terrain that limits the heights i can attain;
for what do i stand to gain if i remain in my domain where my dreams are each day slain by poverty so plain?

my faith has begun to wane, my prayers seem to be in vain and my emotions like blood through my vein, a constant drain.

dear Lord, i know it seems like i complain but my goals i cannot seem to obtain!!!

in this quagmire of hopelessness i cannot remain.

WHY LORD, FOR JUST A GRAIN SO MUCH STRAIN???

Dear God, sometimes its hard to refrain from asking if you reign
but lo! my anger i must restrain, my composure regain
and tarry Lord till you deign.

On a very very serious note oh
This is really getting to me oh

Nigeria is playing the her final chance today
Those guys have really messed up, anyway God day

The first match left us with a nut
The second match we tied a knot, even with nut

Hope we are not going again to mess up
But sha, i hope we'll win so i'll drink 7-up

And if they go there again to display their stupity
My people just put your money in your pocket no generosity

Well lets wait & see what our eagles will bring for us
Even if we don't win, lets shout "Its a goal" for once

Although we won't die if they don't bring home the cup
but for our image as a country lets cheer them up

I know the eagles themselves are upset with no laughter
But lets just support to ensure the joy they are after

Wether they come back home or not if they win its called Victory Tongue
Other wise, if their's still no goal at all, lets leave story Cool

I wonder what will happen to the looter igbinedion
anyway I believe something drastic can be done

He plundered his state treasury like ibori
without having some concern or worry
but stuffing so much money into his lorry

why so much noise about ribadu going to kuru
I know the battle against corruption is not yet uhuru  Grin

what is really wrong with obasanjo
with this sex scandal will he have any joy

« #86 on: January 29, 2008, 03:31 PM »

i always wonder why this ever happens
i shed so much tears and my face dampens
over a mere pencil i was unable to shappen

not even for a dime
will i trade my precious time
especially when i'm in my prime

i need so mush to go to school
thats something that'l make me never drool
with my big sis and sibs enjoying the cool

but now that i'm not in school i have to work
out the modalities i'll need in the dock
hell, it stinks to have to work
when i should rather get to school

its actually just for a few more months
alas i have to read and get the grades up
and get the dough spent

thats why i have to work
i really don't want to wait on anyone's stock
the reason i need my own purse
and school will becon to me really easy.

i love myself so much
even though people love to hurt me much
i don't care as such

reason is simple
i've got a cool dimple
thats enough to be my sample

everyone is entitled to their opinions
i also know my onions
i don't get furious
when people get curious
about why i'm so serious
talking about something thats odd

i know who i am
what am worth
and why i am here

i keep God ahead of me always
so he helps clear my mess in all the ways

i let my inner beauty advertise me
since people are only want to criticise me

whether its true or not, i'm a star
it will only take the night for me to glare

talking about life in the street

na from that time every corner go they alive
weekends from Friday down to sunday
if you no take care you go wound just one day
see chick every where, we call them ashies
it reminds me of one girl Ashley, she too be ashy
even when you they committed
when you see her you go feel omitted

hotels, night clubs full apapa like rubies
chicks everywhere like hospitals with babies
life in the night in apapa fit make you dent
despite some they still attempt
see small girls, i mean young lass
you fit fall in there with you pocket full of cash
you no go know when you carry your money they dash
at the end of the day you go crash
when you wake up, you go start from trash
this na how some guys live life, as if life they ash
clubs, hotel owners they collect their cool cash
reluctant to people life wey them they trash
