Bebe2007,
I can see that you are taken this matter too personal that was why you shot me that I compared a banker with a lawyer in my previous post about, who a banker is?
I just want you to know that every profession has it own perculiarity and was being designed for a defined purpose. For you to have said that law is only noble profession and I should not compare banking/finance with law, I see it as an unnecessary Ego-Boasting which is 'altra vires abinitios" null and void without any locus standi
One thing you should note is that Nairaland is designed by Seun purposely for people to interracts and share experiences with one another. So, issue should not be taken personal here and we should always be mindful of our utterances as people across the globe are reading our writes-up.
So my sister, don't be annoyed if I have ever offended you for citing a reference in my previous post by comparing the requirements for qualifying people into law profession and banking/finance profession with each other.
Once again, i am sorry. I did not mean any harm before you sue me to law court.
Best regards!!!!
what can i say. On a more serious note, why are some people saying am taking it very personal? i really do not think so. I only shared my opinion on the issue, didnt realise it was that strong. Sorry guys no harm intended. Some of my very good friends are bankers so i cannnot possibly hate them. Bankers should just keep it cool thats all.

Hello Everyone, I happen to work in one of the Nigerian banks. It's sad to actually admit that there's an element of truth in what is being said about bankers (in Nigeria) being flirts. For some poeple, its more of a case of occupational hazard, really. they tend to spend all their lives (literally) in the bank; they are bombarded by lovely-looking faces and figures all day long. They would have hardly gotten over the first daze before they are hit by another damsel. This they face day in, day out. For the weak-willed, they crumble like pringles while those whose have steel nerves tend to last a bit longer. Soon, they are caught in a web they find hard to get out of. But the truth of it all is that its not so easy. Especially when experience have shown that some of these ladies actually come to the bank to "get" the guys; yes!!! The percieved "big boys" who have cash to throw around and more to spare (if only they knew). You cannot begin to imagine some the temptation bankers go through. However, this is no excuse. For others, it is a case of freedom at last; Oppotunities to test their virality; freedom to sow their wild oats. Living in habitual debauchery, consuming themselves in the embers of irrespoonsiblity. The truth ought to be told.
It is assumed that bankers are gentlemen, and by implication, well-groomed. Gentlemen ought not to go around chasing everything in sight. Yes, in the course of our daily duties as bankers, there would be lots of meetings, and some of them repeatedly too. Sparks of friendship and attraction would flare (bankers are human too); imaginations could go wild and desires crazy. But let's treat ourselves with respect because it is only he who respects himself that can extend same others. Once the self is respected, it would natuarlly flow towards the damsels that grace our offices. Then we would desire to treat them better, and have better relationships with them. Rather than "hunting" them with the sole desire to quench the flame in our fiery loins. Friendships that are worthwhile and mutually rewarding can be developed thus.
And no, bankers are not flirts; we just have some flirts in banks.

Its because anytime you go to a Bank, the guy at the counter always tries to hit on you. I'm sorry for generalizing but it happens everytime. So if you are a Banker, you must be into it too.

That's because they are randy flirts. Its too too too three much. Just because they are freshed up in an a/c environment and are counting cash doesn't mean every girl should jump on their d*!k. The females too especially the marketers are also included in the randy game.
A few are good but as it is, its just a few.

bankers in naija have girls falling all over them . I worked in the bank in naija and good grief, those guys have a field day. A gang of girls will troop in 'escorting' a friend who came to cash a N20 cheque. its ridiculous. . they hear bankers earn well. but poor things they probably didnt hear that if you work hard for money you don't give it away. bankers are tight fisted.

Am back on this Bankers issue again!!!! As for the female bankers, i have heard cases where they actually have to sleep with customers to meet up their target ie those of them in Marketing. Apart from these marketers, the others generally flirt with rich customers and somtimes date them. The females are not excluded from my lashing, infact they are worse than the guys.
I have seen the way they treat rich customers in the banking hall, they are all smiles and very friendly unlike the way they act with the poor or average customers. Well i will narrow this trait to human behaviour generally. Everyone wants to be associated with something or someone important. But they should work on that afterall they are meant to be service providers not judges, they should be professional.

idey must be very new in the banking system, meeting so many fine ladies at once must be new too and he may have heard so many unrealistic stories which lead to his runing his basket mouth at every fine lady he sees. Of cause he can never land a lady that way only the runs chics can lay with such a cordless spine 4 cash. in reality, bankers - male r always on the run from ladies, while the female banker whether fine or ugly is seen as responsible and lovely and definitely all caliber of men would want her or a taste of her. i-dey u no dey ejoo grow up and stop having silly fantasy, 8)u hear me sooo
