Any authentic STB or WEMA branch would definately do. u ll board a bus going to iperu/ilishan from oshodi n u ll drop at ilishan garage and take a bike to BU.

@ dafizee; why would u reject d admission offered 2 u by babcock, because of what uve read so far? so u would prefer 2 go 2 federal and states universities were strike and cultism is d order of d day? u want a sitatn where u would have 2 spend    8yrs 4  a 4yr course? think about it.

Babcock is becoming one of the best private universities in Nigeria in terms of Academics as the administration there is placing priority on academics and sports.it's improving in socials with the recent performance of music stars like d'banj,Kc presh and styl plus.Unlike some private universities Babcock allows the use of phones and only suspend/expel when actions threaten the life and property of students eg gang beating, mass fights etc.
Babcock is also engaged in research works in nearly every field of study offered by the university and this is seen as a criteria in the rating of any university in the world.

Hello, BU to-be undergrad, i can testify that BU is an ok school, and when i say ok, i mean good.
I graduated from there, the very first set so you can imagine the doubts that went through my mind when i wanted to apply as i was trying out new waters but I'm glad i did.
For sure, BU grads are all over the world and are doing what any Graduate can do, I got a work even before my NYSC was over, had no probs in getting an MBA Admission,  e.t.c,
And this is the testimony of many grads also so I’m not in for the goodies alone. I must confess though that BU can be very tasking in terms of academics and some rules
But overall it makes you a better person. However, if ur not still game for BU, don’t bother going because its either ur in or ur out… its not like secular universities where u can be
One leg up- one leg down.

Hello All,
I would appreciate if someone would confirm that the campus is vegetarian-friendly.
Does the school demand attendance of the Chapel?

from the day i got into Babcock in 2001, we were given the tentative graduation date in 2005 and were told to work towards it because not all of us would make it to the graduation date. True to it,  some died, left the school, travelled out, went to other schools, got suspended or simply droopped out. None of the above happened in my case.

i finished from BU in '05. I had my own initial  reservations about the school before i got into it, u kno,  no free freedom as such, a lacto- vegetarian diet, no pants for girls except for exercise or training, no sleeveless tops, no earrings, strict attendance in chapel services, research research and more research,  yadiyadi yadi.

BU can't compare to CU in terms of infrastructure, but we have our own strenghs too, u kno. they allow cell phones, artistes are permitted to perform, networking / relationships are allowed and even encouraged, u can do a little business by the side, u can work for the school and get paid, they encourage community service, u can do summer holiday jobs in any part of the country via the school ( i did in Abuja for about two and a half months in 2003 and made about 90k, excluding tithes of course), etc,,, i can go on and on.

like they say, good things don't come easy, and you're either in or out of the school , just like tolutoms said,  when u get to it, u'll discover there's fun and fashion in every level , and its the more important things in life that should matter to you.

i didnt come out with a first class, but i could have, just lost it by 0.04 margin and i don't care what people say, but ur first degree is the most important, lays a good foundation for whatever else u want to learn in life.

however, i would advice anyone who wants to go to a private school in naija to have a taste of outside life first, like A-levels in a federal uni or first year, then u'll appreciate what the privae schools have to pffer without missing out completely of typical naija school life.

hope this helps

Nice one Spicey. If anyone wants a clearer picture of the school, you can take a trip down and interact with the students. That's what I did myself and if life can rewind back, I'ld still choose Babcock again. I still go back there from time to time to hang out since '05 when I graduated.

God Bless that school!!!!
i graduated from BU last year and i can testify that the school is of high standard.
Though d social life was dead when i entered but before i left it was coming up and i think by now it should be ranked 70%
Babcock University is a school i would like to go again and again.
your 4yrz or 5yrz depending on the course you want to study is certained and it cannot be extended except you choose to
so any speculation that babcock university is on the negative side is false.
