Tope is right about celtel gprs in the likes of abeokuta and ago iwoye where oou is located. Anytime I go to those places, the G on my phone disappears.
Also, celtel still has their internet apn active. @honsule, recall when we thought they disabled the access point, they didn't, they only deactivated our lines. I sweet talked one of their customer care representatives into given me explanations but I guess in the end, we have to find a backdoor to reactivating our lines or just sit and wait for celtel to launch it officially and make us pay subscription fees for ACCESS INTERNET!

Guyyys! Right now I am screaming bankaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai! I have like 6 sims i have being trying to activate for mms but to no avail. Woke up this morning and just decided to try the most stubborn one again by sending sms to 232. Lo and wow, celtel replied me with welcome to mms bla bla bla and right now i am posting this with the stuff. Men it even seems it is faster than the internet access because i am using it on my laptop now. I'm going to go try to download some things now and work things out. Cheers.

@tobs.You are right, their is no mtn gprs in that vicinity.I was there in october for a programme(christian law student fellowship of Nigeria{CLASFON}Gate-way 2007 Cabbash)i was heavily armed with all my sims even MTEL.I tried my mtn no show,i also tried celtel no show, but immediately i inserted my glo sim, come see browsing expressly. For glo am 100% sure. But for mtn and celtel you are out of gprs coverage in Ago-Iwoye,gate-way stadium etc

@ tobs and stalker, I guess you guys suffered semantics when reading my post. If you guys read well, you'll discover i said "abeokuta and AGO-IWOYE where OOU is located!". I think you guys are the ones who need to calm down when reading posts next time. Like you said stalker, you went there for post jamb, I could draw you the map of the whole ijebu because I go there at least once in two weeks, got about 3 girlfriends there when I was in 300level then but now I stick to only one of them. Moreover, I am an indegene so don't tell me about my source.

@tobs and bimbor, the stuff wont browse until you use the mms proxy. For internet explorer, go to connection settings and set it to use the proxy 172.018.254.005 and port 8080. For yahoo messenger, go to connection preferences and do the same thing. Enjoy your browsing, I assure you download speeds of 7.5kb per sec and above. Faster than the internet access only that honsule is right about the 300kb download limit. But all the same, enjoy!
