250,000 Naira seems very little to me!  Wasn't Tinapa's objective mainly to attract people who would otherwise shop in Dubai, etc.?
250,000 naira could hardly cover merchants' expenses, let alone be worthwhile a resell volume,  This is not to mention that one of the emporiums was designated as a car dealership, if memory serves me well.  The 250k  ceiling would automatically exclude car purchases!

Very nice pics, Shocked Shocked I wish the foreign media would once in a while show pics like that of Nigeria instead of portraying us all the time as animals and 419ers. Na wa oh!! my jaw almost dropped when I saw all the street lights working and the well organized spectators. Thumps up for Calaba people.

@DisGuy - I think the language is Latin, there are letters missing in the text it originally reads: Neque porro quisquam est qui dolorem ipsum quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit . . .
"There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain . . .").

http://www.straightdope.com/columns/010216.html

Apparently it is a a filler for documnets used to demonstrate the graphic elements of a document or visual presentation, such as font, typography, and layout.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorem_ipsum

English translation

H. Rackham's 1914 translation: "Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?"

Was kind of confused myself I was like, this does not look like Efik?

@celemel - thanks alot for all the info, I must surely land next time. Do you think they will do something for Easter, they should!
