Before you attempt to try cruise control for first time make sure you are on a clear road@ 60kmph/40mph. A clear road is good just incase.
Turn/press the button on the cruise control switch to turn cruise function on. Cruise will show up on your dash, accelerate to about 60kmph(don't need it at <40mph) Tap on switch toward arrow on set(usually downwards) Take foot off throttle and car should maintain set speed. To cancel, tap switch towards self, or prees on brake till you get to 5mph below set speed. Acc roow(on top) is used to accelerate when in cruise, if released car will return to set speed.
Not to be disrespectful - who is "cruise-controlling" in Lagos or wherever? The roads are not long and wide enough plus other drivers on the road wouldn't even make it a necessity.
The guy wants to know and if you can't help him, direct him to someone who can, as he never asked for the possibility of using it in Nigeria. In as much as our roads are bad, there are still highways where you can use cruise control.
Thanks ALOT SULTAN BUT I AV TRIED ALL YOU WROTE HERE but its still not working. Theres a botton just beneath the side button on the gear lever, whats that button for,is it needed to get the car in curise control
There are some good roads in Nija to cruise, talk of the road between benin and warri and even others in the north
OD(overdrive) switch won't let your trans shift up unecessarily(hunting) good in lagos traffic
See the arrow pointing inward, push/use it to turn on cruise control first(it will come up on your dash board) When you get to 60kph, click that handle down to set. Cancel by stepping on brake or pulling lever towards you.
PLEASE do it on a clear road. If you click up it will accelerate VERY fasy(you might kill someone)
