Zenith Compensation Restructuring: A Ruse come Injustice
« on: December 31, 2007, 10:46 AM »

Zenith Bank Plc reviewed its compensation package on 5th October, 2007 with a promise that medical and productivity bonus that were excluded would be payable annually and that payment of the latter would be based on performance. In its 18th December, 2007 compensation restructuring, productivity and medical that were not in the list hitherto are now included with the same old total! Who says this is not a clear and ingenious way of reviewing compesation package downwards? Zenith, thumb down for you.

I feel ur pain brother, its indeed a sad commentary on a Bank that is seen as a success story when we talk about the financial services sector in Nigeria. Instances like this makes one wonder why the unions havent become visible in these second generation banks. It is high time, management of these banks are called to order and stop taking their employees for a ride.
