2007 came, saw and left.
Though, it was full of joy, laughter, tears, sadness, agony, kisses, merry-making, deaths, births, celebrations, marriages, murder, suicide, bomb-blasts, lies, hopes, promises, jokes, injuries, wounds, sickness, illness, accidents, flood, fire accident, road accident, aeroplane crash, fights, stabs, guns, assaults, wealth, wants, gadgets, movies, music, rumours, torrents, blogs, sports, anger, forgiveness, hatred, faith, speeches, poverty, looting, corruption, allegations, knives, immigration changes, pass, fail, hunger, satisfaction, terrorism competition, ban, climate change,[, ], and so on,

we cannot but thank the Lord, God for seeing us through to 2008.

Happy NewYear to all my Nairalanders. May the NewYear bring everything you wish for in life. May the Good Lord Help our country Nigeria.

"This is a time for reflection as well as celebration.

As you look back on the past year and all that has taken place in your life,

Remember each experience for the good that has come of it
and for the knowledge you have gained.

Remember the efforts you have made and the goals you have reached.

Remember the love you have shared and the happiness you have brought.

Remember the laughter, the joy, the hard work, and the tears.

And as you reflect on the past year, also be thinking of the new one to come.

Because most importantly, this is a time of new beginnings
    and the celebration of life."
