MLM Hype Doesn’t Work

When you joined the MLM industry as a “newbie” what was your expectation of the time that you needed to spend to build your business?  What was your income expectation?

Most of us have false expectations which are based upon false truths being told to us by our “upline”.  It’s part of the “hype” that most people experience when they join an MLM company.

Look, when you’re being told to get 5 people and those 5 should get 5 and so on…it’s just creating false beliefs and false expectations.  Usually you’re told… that’s the formula to MLM riches.  You get 5 and they all get 5. Honestly, who was the last person you saw in the MLM industry to do that?  Of the tens of thousand of new people who enter the MLM industry how many actually achieve success that way?

So many people enter the revolving MLM door, and they’re just another statistic of failure.  If you have a false expectation the likelihood is you’re “destined not for greatness, but for failure”!  It’s no wonder that so many quit within the first year.  With not achieving their expectations, they presume it’s them that failed or that network marketing just lived up to the “scam” beliefs that are so prevalent in the industry.

The real reason for the failure is due to the inadequacy of proper education…talk about the REAL DEAL.  The honesty that can give the person a REALISTIC expectation… not HYPE, to achieve their goals and dreams.

I’ve spent the last 20 years in this industry and can tell you that creating an MLM business for yourself is SIMPLE but not always easy.  It requires real effort, work and a commitment of time.  I tell people that it requires a solid 10 hours minimum per week to be able to achieve any level of success.  Frankly, to achieve any long-term success requires a commitment of between 2 to 5 years of dedicated building of your Teams.  That’s when the payoff really begins of residual income.

I help create a realistic expectation of between $1,000 to $2,000 monthly income within 6 months by following my system of commitment and marketing techniques and strategies.  It’s important to recognize the principles  of creating residual income… that your success is based upon teaching a lot of people each doing a little, and you share in their financial successes; and that by working a little harder today will create for you a long-term income stream for tomorrow.  If you understand and accept these principles, then the network marketing industry is a good choice for you to build a home based business.

Remember; create realistic expectations for you and your prospects and team members… HYPE really doesn’t work and only creates false beliefs.
