Hi Guys I have come across a topic on this site which prompted me to write this thread, I will class myself as a woman of colour Dark attractive etc etc  But noticed preferences are made in a choice of partner for the lighter shade sister or brother, you know the real long hair!! the light eyes the soft baby hair etc No way am I saying we ebony dark skinned individuals are inferior by the colour of our skin!! Just a light note to ask you what your personal preference is if you really had a choice and why ?? Guy and girlees your views please  |

Both man! Look at someone like Tyrese or Flex Alexander/Washington or Morris Chestnut then look at someone like Bow wow if someone is cute they are cute right? Thats my opinion on guys and the same should apply to girls. But I know a lot of guys go for light skinned in UK where you are reporting from not sure if same is for Nigeria but I think so.

Fox, I've no particular preference, in terms of complexion, I find both light, medium and dark equally attractive. It all depends on the woman in question. I prefer black women to white though. Happy New Year!  |

Thank you britgirlee, wishing you all the best in 2008 Oranges are green before they ripe and become orange oranges in the beginning of the orange season you would find people selling green oranges, which I don't like at all , they taste like sore lemons Seriously I meant I do have preferences regarding the colors of things I buy from the marketplace, but regarding people my preferences would be based on who they are as humans: how they think, behave , etc. |

if two ladies with very similar characters compatible to mine are brought to me the chances of opting for the light skinned is 90%, if i ever i see anything black as beautiful then she must be extraordinary. i have never dated a dark skinned girl beyond 4 weeks all my life but i have dated light skinned girls (2) more than 3years each

We all unconsciously have subtle color differences and the reason this topic is up in the first place is because of that realisation.
Light or dark, i have always been drawn more to the personality than the shades of color but have always found myself drawn more to the light skinned woman. I thiink its coincidence.

Yes you mean tanning saloons with the appropriate tan lotion, not the same and still when Caucasians use the lotion which is temporary they still go a very light shade of brown, ie mixed race , Latino look |
