AGGGGHHHHHH! Another error! I copied the data from 2 sources and one puts a space after names while the other does not. I will fix and repost in ten minutes. Delete all your CSV files for each symbol and re-import what I'll repost.

Since ZSL no gree, I copied it from nsepro. Diff formats na im cause the chaos. Let's try again below. Most of you will have to clean out your CSV files. See how to do that below:

Quote
In your windows explorer go to

C:\Program Files\AptiStock\Data

Delete all the data files/folders in there (it will only confuse and clutter your software)

If you do that, download the pre-2008 data here and re-import that as well.

I apologize again. The sofware is v sensitive to formats. I'll keep an eye out in the future.

@Easi - me i was OK o  Wink,  i checked format already. Do you have data for 25th? e be like say Zenith dey check us  Angry Sad

@Aktopgun - you would actually find aptistock better than nigeriansecurities, as you would be more in control. And can check prices, RSI, MACD etc on other days other than the current day as you would have on Nigeriansecurities.

Easi,
Good morining,
Please been trying to upload the data after installing aptistock.  It gets to the end of the process but it just stops with a message
import EOD DATA finished staying there for almost 20 mins before i exit it.
Does it take so long to upload,  I don't get any error messages too.
I notice the Aptistock data downloader does not even begin to upload "fill in green" all through the 30 or so mins,
Using version 1.13.
Cheers

Same thing happens in mine but then the analysis works 100%  Grin I just let it import for 20 miins then shut it down. Re-open and I'm good to go. A quirk with no consequences.

Have to find a work-around for this ZSL issue. I can only do it once or twice a week. Too time consuming. Will post 25 - 27 tommorrow.

I have the data for Metastock: 2007 to date. Am thinking of pasting it here but one might confuse it for Aptistock data. What do you think?

The one Kosieboy uploaded into Megaupload is good: the only place you get the malware is when you first open the ziped folder. Avast Anti-vurus (free) detects it: tell avait to do nothing - ie do not allow the malware run. Once you have successfully uploaded the software, the malware will no longer be present. If you don't want to do this in your company laptop, you can extract the zip folder somewhere else.

No.  It will only add more days to the onces you already have if the stock symbols are the same and the dates are different.

The sheets updated for 2008 has data of each addtional day added to it: the previous data still remains.   So that any time you update your aptistock with Easimoni's sheet, it is actually wiping your former data out: but the former data is being replaced with the same data, so no wahala.

It has a function where you can tell it not to replace former data, but it is applicable for the realtime/online update.
