Would You Use Contact Lenses?

Uhmm yeah i would use contact lenses. Not obvious ones like blue tho, since I'm a black gurl. I could settle for honey. I'm getting some soon tho,  so no qualms.

They are alright---requires a lot of cleaning though, else you might land yourself an eye infection

very true---- but if you are short-sighted, you got to do what your optician tells you.

contacts are not bad, they are hard to fix into ur eyes at first but becomes easy when u get used to them. They can be very discomfortingly when u have them on for so many hours and "YOU DO NOT want to SLEEP WITH EM ON" if u don't want no serious eyes issue!!!

i use clear contacts. I'm very shortsighted and astigmatic as well. i have tried colored contacts in the past but i ditched em. i prefer the clear ones. my dreadlocs get me enough attention in this lagos, so its hard to combine the coloured eyes as well. i can do without the many stares and questions!!
anyway, contacts are very convenient, sometimes i even forget i have bad sight!! the only thing is, you have to be careful with your hygeine when putting them in or taking them out. that aint so bad is it? proper hygeiene no be sin.

i love my contacts (hazel) my only problem is sometimes it takes my time i've never known how people just put them in easily! it takes me about 20 mins n that is time wasted so i don't have them on evryday

i don't like lenses,it lokk fake to me

I used contact lenses for a while(clear ones), despite advice to the contrary-I've got extremely dry eyes, and I had to stop after a while. I got pretty good at putting them in, and taking them out, only took a few mins. You can now get the extended wear ones too, 
I've also been considering laser surgery, but seeing as I am such a wus, I might be sticking to the glasses for a while yet.

I see a lot of girls(in Naija) wearing them(the fashionable ones) and in as much as it looks very good on some,on others its looks absolutely awful!
This morning a classmate of mine wore hers to class.Now see,she's light skinned with very brown and cranky hair.She wore the grey+a hint of blue coloured ones and lined her eyes so thickly with kohl.She looked gawdawful!As she sashayed around the class expecting everyone to notice her,there were histerical giggles coming from every corner of the room.I was embarrassed on her behalf.

Now,my question is,is it really fashionable wearing contacts?

trust me, they are not always comfortable, especially if they are dry and it's windy. i wear contacts when i've got time on my hands and when i want to wear sunglasses. when i'm in a hurry i don't even bother. i just put on my glasses and off i go. i wear both but i wear glasses more. hate contacts,have to wear them to college though.

I wear them, i love them. i usually buy the 3months disposable in either brown or green colorblends.

The colorblends look really sexy and people are never sure if it is ur eyes or not. The green colorblends are my most favourite as it goes well with my complexion. and damnn do i look sexy in them.

Spikedcylinder maybe ur friend was wearing the crazy stripes, they are new and in vogue now, but really scary.

I use contact lenses.
No colored stuff tho. Jus plain ones.
I have enough problems with ma eyes seriously.
Those things are cool but I can't wear them
all the time. They can be VERY incomfortable at times.
And talk about all the conjunctivitis and eye infections.

i wear contacts for about 3 years now not too sure because ive gotten used to them so much i am a person that likes to play sports and i couldnt stand wearing glasses so i asked my optometrist about contacts, she prescribed and ive been using them i tried the color ones for a while it was ok but i mostly use clear ones, and now recently I'm using some overnight ones that i can sleep in life is much easier if i can sleep with them instead of gettin up every morning and puttin them on, don't get me wrong sometimes i have to take them off because i also have allergies and it bothers a lot with the allergies but besides that its great and much better

I NORMALLY WEAR D THE MISTY GREY  OR HAZEL BROWN RECOMMENDED COLOURED CONTACT LENSES because I'VE GOT A TERRIBLE EYESIGHT, IT ALSO BLENDS WITH MY HAIR N SKIN COLOUR.BESIDES D ONLY TIME U CAN CATCH ME WITH MY GLASSES ON IS WHEN I'M IN MY FLAT,BUT D ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS that DESPITE D FACT that I'VE BEEN WEARING LENSES 4 OVER FIVE YEARS,THERE'S NO WAY I COULD STOP THOSE TEARS FROM RUNNING DOWN MY CHEEKS WHENEVER I PUT THEM ON  , WHAT A PITY,BUT AT D END OF D DAY IT'S WORTH IT because I ALWAYS END UP WITH  MORE BEAUTIFUL EYES AND VERY CLEAR VISION.
