i normally wear the blue lense because my friends used to tell me that i looked just like naomi campell with the green lenses and since i dislike her i now put on the blue one and my friends say i look sexy and better with the blue one than the green one

I have used contact lenses for over 5yrs now, my eye sight is terrible and i had to start wearing glasses from the age of 7
there are many myths about contact lenses
1. it takes alot of effort to get an eye infection; all u have to do is keep your lenses clean, keep the case clean and never handle the lenses with dirty hands. always change the fluid, theres no point uses contacts if you can't afford to have them clean
2. dry eyes needn't stop you, some all in one solutions can be used as comfort drops or buy comfort drops and carry around
3. using ridiculous colours is pointless, black people don't have blue or green eyes and i personally think they look stupid.If you have to wear colored contacts, pick one that goes with your skin tone. I use ivory grey because I can never see my clear ones especially when they drop and I'm light skinned so i can pull it off.
4. your contacts should only take you a couple of seconds to put on, if it takes any longer, your are handling it too much and need to clean it before wear.
5. your contact lenses should not sting or move around, if it does your haven't worn it properly. you shdnt feel it and NO, BLOOD VESSELS DONT GROW OVER THEM. yes your eyes need to get oxygen and if u wear your contacts too long, protein will build up on it and it will eventually fall out of your eyes. (happened to me)
6. there many kinds, daily disposable, monthly disposable, and extended wear. dailies are perfect for people who can't be bothered about hygiene. i favour extended wear myself. you should never use your contact lenses longer than necessary.

my own is that i cannot see two meters in front of me. im blind like bat, wait! i just checked, its one meter, grr, everything is fuzzy!  ive been rockin glasses for quite a while, but sometimes, you just need to be unobstructed mehn, so i got contacts, clear ones, yea its a hassle getting them on and off, and cleaning and maintenance, but when you get used to it.youll wonder how you did without, and even forget that you have them on! used to wear coloured ones before, green ones, looked ultra nice oh! im light skinned so it looked rather natural, made my eyes dry out a lot tho, |

m.i i know what you mean, have to lubricate the thing. But thankfully just once is enough for me. My sister on the other hand wears it constantly and she doesn't take hers off, no lubricant - nothing.

Yeah i know, but she's been wearing contacts for such a long time now, probably over 9 years or more.
She sometimes wears them for 3 months without taking them off. I was shocked that she didn't go blind or something, but her eyesight is still good

Amugbo. If anything is kolomental it is your mentality. I have personally experienced very many black girls with colored eyes. Way too many to be contacts, and they look so "sexy" . Alas, the depression is just your garrulous opinion.
