In South Africa, TV station pay you to produce a TV show if they buy it. So guys if you have a cool idea for a TV show, be it game show, magazine, sitcom etc. South African TV might be it. as far as i know, it's not like they just buy your idea: you need to make a pilot, and a pretty good one, too.
(i wrote and directed a pilot for MNET; don't know what came of it, though)

bishoptboy, what do you mean by 'ideas'?
can i just come up an idea or do i bring up something that i have thought of and really developed. to come up wit an idea, i think an understanding of the average south african lifestyle would be an advantage. i don't think bringin an idea or story based on nigerian lifestyle will matter much.
how does this really work.
i'm curious, what type of tv show are u working on and when is it going on air.
