this is a sign of a desperate "cult" snatching at straws to remain relevant. A "cult" that knows that it has no power to convict and thus needs to wave a list of its "converts" as bait to draw other unsuspecting victims.

Do you know that most of Islam's growth is by high birth rate due to poverty and lack of exposure not convictions?
A man married to 4 wives and girls starting to procreate as young as 9 are bound to have more kids in the long run.

Do you know that the so called rapid Islamic growth in the west is by immigration of Muslims from sharia lands?

Do you know that most of the converts in the USA are black male criminals in prison for various crimes.

Do you know that about 75% of Islam converts leave Islam within one year?

Do you know that most female converts to Islam in the west are women married to Muslim men and a large majority leave Islam later on and most leave Islam at the breakdown of the marriage?

Do you know that most converts from Islam to Christianity or other religions keep their faith hidden for fear of torture and death?

Do you know that it's a death sentence for many to declare a faith outside of Islam.

do you know that in many Muslim countries, females and children are counted as Muslims (and carry an identity card that identifies them as such) if their fathers are Muslims irrespective of their religious convictions.

Do you know that in Many Muslim countries it's a crime punishable by death to leave Islam.

Do you know that millions of African Muslims leave Islam yearly and 6 million of these millions become Christians by the power of God annually in Africa alone and no swords are lifted?

We don't need a list, neither do we need propaganda and hype.
The truth speaks for itself.

Do you know that Jesus is still Lord?

Salamu alaykum, ife-eco-06, mashaAllah, good post.

Erm, nwando, have you read the book called "Daughters of another Path"? It is quite an enlightening book; its written by a christian woman (a missionary, if I remember correctly) whose daughter converted to Islam. It talks about the results of the mother's research into the conversion of American women to Islam. I would call it an unbiased book because it was written by a christian mother who was aggrieved by her daughter's conversion to Islam. I'd recommend the book for everyone who wants to know about why people convert to islam.

What really is "good" about the post? The religion of Scientology have Tom Cruise as one of theirs . . . Bill Gates is an atheist . . . does tat make scientology and atheism "good" religions too?

My dear,I have no doubts that people convert from one religion to another including from Christianity to Sango worship.
That is not the issue here.
The issue is that Muslims blow their trumpets and tell a lot of lies.

Islam grows in the West primarlily by Immigration from Muslim countries but your propaganda sites hide that known fact.
Muslims running away from hardship in the lands of sharia into the lands of the "infidels"

some converts you never heard of

Quote
Somali Christian sources report Ali Mustaf Maka'il, a 22-year-old college student and cloth merchant who converted from Islam to Christianity 11 months ago, was shot and killed in the Manabolyo quarter of Mogadishu.
According to a report from the Barnabas Fund, quoting a Christian source inside Somalia, the gunman was loyal to the Union of Islamic Courts, the Islamist organization that took power in Mogadishu in early June and now controls much of southern Somalia.

The report states the gunman shot Ali in the back Sept. 7 after he refused to join a crowd chanting Quran verses in honor of the lunar eclipse. Solar and lunar eclipses are significant in Islam and are accompanied by special congregational prayers. The Union of Islamic Courts confiscated Ali's body for 24 hours before delivering it to the grieving family, the report said.

, islamists,

is your allah so powerless that you have to kill people for him,

is your allah so idealess that , murder,  or intimidation with threat of murder, is the way to go for you.

Does it sound coincidental that you have to sustain your believe through violence,

, Well done with the names you posted, at least your allah finally has some more people to add to the register. (even those that probably don't know their left from their right)

And who ever said they were Christians in the first place?

Simple. In Islamic propaganda, anything that is not "Muslim" or "Islam" has automatically become "Christian", even though the evidence before them does not lead to that idea!

This is how Muslims think - and that is how they argue their misconceptions! Grin

By the way, @poster,

Have you asked yourself what is behind the hatred that Muhammad had for Jews and Christians? WHY did he hate them so much that anything "Jewish" or "Christian" is automatically a symbol of hatred for Muslims, inspite of the claim that Islam is the religion of "peace"?

WHY did Muhammad hate Jews and Christians so much that his last words on his dying bed was a CURSE that has failed to the embarrassment of Muslims worldwide?

WHY would Muhammad hate Jews and Christians so much as to "curse" them for the very same thing that we all know Muslims worldwide are guilty of?

Happy New Year, my sister. Nice to see you're still hitting them where it hurts.

This thread smacks of someones desperation to legitimize their religion, its prophet and the 'revelation' he coined. Why boast about some celebrities and big names 'converting' to Islam when there is no positive impact on their lives? Some bunch of criminals, psychopaths and mass murderers would naturally gravitate to a religion that accepts condones their behaviour. And off course when some bored rich people want aomething new to excite them and gain publicity without neccesarily changing their lifestyle where else will they go? Answer: A religion without the power to positively affect lievs.

Alhamdulilai I am a muslim. There is no need to enter into argument about our respected religion of Islam.  Islam is a complete religion. If one is lucky to be born a muslim or converted to Islam, then one has achieved a great thing. May we not be misled by Satan after we have accepted Islam, amin. May we die as muslims. Allah is protecting His religion and propagating it, inspite of unrelenting war being waged by the Western world. Allahu

Well, perhaps you need to preach that to the Muslims who have been doing that very thing endlessly. More to the point is that Christians have been offering answers to contextualize and sanitize such Muslim propaganda.

Islam is a complete religion.

I'm not so sure it is - judging by the standard of the frantic excuses that have trailed Muslim apologetics on this Forum.

If one is lucky to be born a muslim or converted to Islam, then one has achieved a great thing.

So, what happens to someone who was born into a Muslim family and has left Islam after discovering the hard facts for herself - hasn't she achieved a greater thing already? Cheesy I was a Muslim before I became a Christian by conviction. . . there's no gainsaying the fact that I know God has done the greatest thing for me when He led me out of Islam.

I'm sorry to disappoint you already, because Muhammad was always praying that 'Allah' should drive away his personal devil; even so much that he taught that every Muslim has a devil attaché. If this is so, the "misleading" has already begun before you prayed the above.

May we die as muslims.

Sorry, there's a Muslim on the Forum whose signature says:

Die EXCEPT As A Muslim!! Grin

I have said amen many times to that prayer in that signature - and I am still praying that whatever anyone chooses to die in, they should do so EXCEPT As A Muslim!

Allah is protecting His religion and propagating it,

With what - the sword?  Or with all the bombs blowing people off with the promise of 72 virgins in Jannah? Perhaps the propagation was not that effective enough for me to have left it to become a Christian.

See this deceitful liars. How many westerners are "waging war" against islam? Infact muslims are freer to practice their religions in western countries as compared to muslim nations.
There are no churches in Saudi Arabia yet Rome boasts Europe's largest mosque. The world's largest mosque is being planned for London, a traditionally christian nation . . . and hypocrites like Bolubunmi buy into the lie of Satan that others are "waging relentless war" against islam.

The constant portrayal of muslims as the victims has been islam's ready excuse for its own penchant for violence and bloodletting.

Muslims come into the grocery stores dressed in scary costumes,we tolerate them,we don't know if it's male or female.wanted dead or alive.
We may have come across Osama in K mart or Tesco, who can be sure?
The costumes may scare little old ladies and give our children perpetual nightmares but we live with it.
If a grown woman must dress like ojuju calabar in a non festive season, let them be.
We let them be.

Try wearing or carrying a crucifix in Saudi or even declaring your faith openly, or carry a small Gideon's on Saudi airline and they see you,the slaves of allah may sacrifice you at the altar of baal and shout allahu akhbar as the blood gushes down your face.
Come to my Church or any Church and rip pages of a KIng James Bible,We would stretch out holy hands  towards you for deliverance from demon posession.
Sit beside your house in Gombe or Islamabad as a Christian and let a Muslim pass by and shout that you have desecrated the Koran,it would take the intervention of Angels for you to come out alive.

That is Islam, the religion of the perpetually offended.
