there are different types of staph aside the well known staph of the skin.staph generally refers to a group of bacteria that causes lots of other diseases as a result of infection of various tissues of the body.hence there are staph of the skin, staphylococcal food poisoning and even pneumonia staph.the bacteria exists in more than 20 types although most common infections are caused by staphylococcus aureus. now the symptoms are vearying and many.some of the symptoms of staph of the skin i assume thats what you are asking of are: the affected area might be swollen, red and painful. appearance of boil/absecess on the affected area which tends to bring out pus. sometimes rashes and peeling of the skin. formation of blisters on the affected area. etc ,etc, etc. curable that i don't know oooo. lets wait for the doctors in the house. but i think it depends on the type of staph diagnoised.some are easily treated with anti biotics, some are resistant to anti biotics.moreoever, choice of anti biotics to be used is dependent on the susceptibility of the particular strain of staph.some of the anti biotics used are amoxicilin, methicilin etc.

The most common symptom of staph is itching of the skin, and worm like movement in the blood.
Yes staph aurus is curable, and I am talking from experience. All you have to do is take 3 combination of drugs from tianshi products for two week and above you will be a free man again. 1 of the drugs is curdicept the other two you have to look it up from their manual.
I will like to state here that staph aurus is a very dangerous desease which can make a man impotent and uncomfortable.

The question what are the symptoms of staph has a very broad answer. My opinion is that the word staph has been popularized by the trado-medical practitioners and they have kind of made people believe the infection is as trivial as malaria fever. It isn't and treatment of every staph infection is something that must be taken seriously both by the patient and the doctor.
Bacteria usually have names that are composed of 2 parts: the first part is their family name and the second part would be like the specie name (eg. Staphylococcus aureus is used to identify one of the children, aureus, who is a member of the Staphylococcus family of bacteria). Staph therefore isn't just staph, its a family that has many interesting family members. They can cause an infection in almost any part of the body - from the skin (furuncles or boils, cellulitis, impetigo etc) to the brain (meningitis in children), the bone (septic arthritis, osteomyelitis) and the blood (septicemia), and I can keep going on and on. They can be dangerous because sometimes you run into infections that would seem to defy all combinations of antibiotics - save for the last resorts.
Symptoms you'll get will depend on which organ is infected but for bacteria infection generally, you can think of: redness, swelling, pus or abscess formation, pain, fever in addition to region specific symptoms.
Penyng made a remark, "the most common symptom of staph is itching of the skin, and worm like movement in the blood". With respect to him/her, I would like to say I don't know how true that is because I cannot understand the link between a bacteria infection and wormlike movement in the blood. If you had a staph infection in your skin, you'd have the symptoms ify had mentioned and fever because of the presence of bacterial products in your blood. Worm like movements in the skin are a different ball game - mainly seen in parasitic infections (the filarial worms) and a host of other infections including certain psychiatric conditions.
I have never seen any tianshi product so I cannot say whether or not they are effective but the best bet is to always see a good doctor as early as possible. I've seen children die because of delay in presenting to the hospital, I clearly remember one instance where a young boy was brought - he had suffered from chronic osteomyelitis that had lead to septic arthritis leading to severe deformities extending from his toes right up through his lower limbs, his fingers and the entire upper limb. I don't know who advised her but she was getting treatment from somewhere else but not orthodox medicine. The worst part was that while examining this boy, I could see that the infection was still ongoing. The funny part was the woman didn't bring this boy in for the septic arthritis but because he had symptoms of malaria. Can you imagine that?
Most staph infections are curable when the disease is diagnosed early and treatment is instituted rapidly. A Staph infection of the blood for instance in the late stages is DEATH in Nigeria because many of the hospitals here don't have what it takes to handle the condition. Even in the west, septicemia is no joke!!!
Stay healthy friend!!!

Hello darellone,
Nice question. I do want to say again that the word Staph infection is used to refer to any of the hundreds of infection that can be caused by the bacteria and not just one type of illness or so. I can't point you to any hospitals but I'd say that aside for the poor patient service delivery, the teaching hospitals are the best bet because the last thing you'll complain of there is that they don't know what they're doing.
I hope that helped.

The "Staph Aureus" dillema can be frightening and this is my story I was in the University in the year 2000 when i was diagnosed to have a STI. I can remember the Laboratory Technologist complaining that he has never seen such a bacteria before as it was resistant to all known reagent. I was placed on some some drugs but the joy only lasted for a short while, the disease kept coming back. It can be frustrating. Between 2000 and 2005, my main reason for visiting the hosptial was because of this disease. The symptoms are generally what was described above: worm-like movement around the body, semen-like discharges, sudden body movement, frequent malaria/typhoid fever etc. I was watching TV when a particular Trado-Doc, Dr. Olisa (Iris Medical) listed all the my symptoms and said that the problem is Staph Aureus. He also claim to have the solution. I visited his clinic last year but i must admit to anybody reading this; his claims are not genuine, i will give you reasons; I was told I will be placed on a drug routine for the period of three months (at a cost of N61, 500 Per month, meaning i will spend N184, 500). I was made to understand by this man that Staph Aureus leads to HIV( You can Imagine how terrible and frightful that sound like). I took the drugs exactly as he said but, 2 1/2 months into his prescription, I am still in the same situation if not worse. A friend also advise me to try Yemkem. Their's is even worse as i was placed on a drug that was supposed to last 6 weeks at a cost of over 70K, yet after the six weeks and my complain still there, their "doctor" profer a new prescription, only this time, I will spend 285,000 in 3 months!!! I will advise anybody having the same problem to please run away from this people as they are nothing other than 419. How can locally sourced herbs be so costly? Here is what I have done, and I will advise anybody going through this to try and follow suit: There is a medical facility in Yaba called Nigeria Institute of Medical Research. They provide a comprehensive medical research on me and I was referred to a urologist. I have not tried Tianshi, but i can tell you, your best bet is to see a specialist and they abound in the General Hospitals we have around. If you can't stand the queue, you can schedule a private audience with the doctor. You can read the following article for further clarification about the falsehood spread around by the so-called Traditional Medicine Practitioners on Staph Aureus http://www.rrh.org.au/articles/subviewafro.asp?ArticleID=826

Adeola007, u didnt tell us if u are Ok now. I am yet to see someone say boldly I AM CURED NOW. I hav been defrauded several times and each time i come out worse than before. The doctors i hav been seeing are tired of prescribing antibiotics which only givs 3wks interval n d itching is back. I just need a miracle smwhere because its getting frustrating.
Penyng should hv been able to state d Tianshi combinations if really he wants to help issue to avoid "tianshi abuse".
Still xpecting vivid contribution out of xperience.
I will write back soon to bring feedback

It is depressing to read about people taking advantage of others in dire need of help; IRIS, YEMKEM etc referred. I cannot tell you categorically that i am cured, but my doctor has been able to explain to me what i need to do to stay healthy. First and foremost, you need to live a very clean life, wash you towel at least twice a week and avoid using wet towel after bath. also make sure that underwears are as clean as possible. Most of the symptoms are gone now, though, the bacteria still remain. I learnt from my research and confirmed by my doctor that it hid itself in the prostate gland (any male suffering from this will confirm that he also suffers from prostatitis) and there is hardly any drug that can penetrate the gland. As such, I am still experiencing one of the effect of the disease (Prostatitis). I also read online that there is a drug (VANCOMYCIN) that is been used to cure it in the West (US and Europe) now. But I will sound a note of caution here, I will not take the drug except if recommended by my doctor. Reason is that, from the research I made, the bacteria can develop resistance to the drug if not properly administered. For those who suffer from relapses, I learnt that the re-infection happens whenever one had intercourse as the bacteria contained in the gland is released into the uretha and the cycle of infection continues
The bottom line is this: whoever is suffering from this infection should PLEASE and PLEASE avoid self medication and as a matter of urgency seek medical attention from a UROLOGIST.
Regards
