I stand to be corrected though, but i think UBA is a merger of STB ant the former UBA. As back as 80's UBA was better known as 'Useless Bank of Africa' and STB was one bank you visited on monday morning as the first day of the week and their system was down and before you knew it, it would as if you were at Oyingbo market by virtue of the customers left standing.Guess what no one would have the courtesy to let you know what is happening except for the fact that you will see the cashiers probably making up or doing something that interest them other than UNow,my point is imagine the unoin of these two banks .I am sure you will say with me 'seeth thou what Soludo brought forth'

I think people that have problems should go to the UBA website and post a comment on their feedback form http://www.ubagroup.com/contacts/feedback.aspI will do this just now cause i have problems with the bank as well and really dislike the bank. Anytime I ahve to go there or even just hear that name I am unhappy. This bank really needs to put major effort into their customer services. everything from problems clients have walking in to their staff attitudes and the culture of the whole organisation.

Hi,
I just decided to check this section of nairaland forum and i am not surprised at all with what i am reading. I use to bank with STB since 2001 and i have been enjoying their services until this merger saga.
Since they merged, i no go lie you, na because e don tey wey i open account with STB no make me leave them. But asides from ther mediocrity, i am still with them due to their vast branches scattered all over the country and this is the only reason i am still with them.

wow, UBA is getting some bad raps, i've been banking with them since 2002, so far, on a scale of 1 to 10 , i'D rate them a 6, they could do better, but they are not that bad.
