Shalom ! A bombshell occurred in London on Thursday morning. Londoners woke up to read in their favourite free newspaper, Metro, that a girl of 18 confessed to having slept with over 50 men. You can imagine my consternation on reading this news. On looking back, however, i realised that barring social restrictions, many Nigerian girls of same age would proudly boast of having surpassed this ignominious achievement, the threats of AIDS notwithstanding! What is the world really turning to? Where has morality travelled to? Really, who is to blame - these loose girls or their parents? Which sort of world are we living in? Or has sex become such a cheap commodity that it should really not matter the number of men so "conquered"? What is really happening?  Me, i think the whole world is going really nutters!! |

I never believed that the moderator will allow this trash piece of contribution. Since it was allowed, i will endeavour to give it a befitting response.
I have always enjoyed my time on this forum, as the aim is to stimulate discussion and interactions. I still maintain that, despite the conditions of participation as enumerated by the moderator, this remains a free forum. However, i was disillusioned for once, on reading the reply quoted above. It is nothing short of amazing! I do not want to join issues with the writer, but i believe contributions like this lower the integrity of this forum. Can you imagine the ranting called contribution? I only raised a social issue. What has this got to do with my greetings? What has it got to do with: "what gives us d assurance that u are not among those men! u try 2 cover-up, bi integratin nigeria girls in2 d matter"? To make matters worse, what is the relevance of: "bros, abeg! go for Hiv- test, because u'r not save!"?.
Obviously, from the level of grammar exhibited, this person is very immature, barely literate and has a long way to go. A social forum should not be an avenue to pass unsolicited insult. There is no point in writing nonsense, if there is practically nothing to contribute. This rascal also claimed to live in Shade Street, Epe. How coincidental! The good people of Shade and Ajaganabe areas of Epe will shudder on reading this trash from someone who claim to live in their midst.
Kingsikaz, or whatever you call your name, you need to learn how to operate in decent and civilised settings. I am not one of your typical dregs of the society. Let us try to exercise care in making contributions. A word is enough for the wise.

It is a measure of your inconsistency that you are now suddenly living at Ajah and not Shade (Epe) anymore. Are you afraid that you will be traced out? A word of advice for you - please endeavour to complete your O-level before making further contributions to serious forums. You can use your odorous mouth to contribute to cheap topics meant for your type in the interim.

One removes the shackles of illiteracy by learning to read and write. Thereafter, one learns common sense so as to apply the newly acquired knowledge rightly. Now, it is the turn of a so-called "vassilli". For you vassilli, i would say that it was quite difficult understanding what you wrote as i really did not know whether to call it Yoruba or English.
