Of course its a good offer. I read a recent analysis of the top five companies to work for in Nigeria and Chevron was tops. Some of the reasons advanced were attractive pay and welfare package, conducive working environment and constant training to develop skills.

Don't think it twice my dear, go for it unless you have another one at hand that's better. It's not all about money in this case, experience counts.
All the best

its better than nothing but i feel
you should be alert knowing is a
contract job and don't be carried away
because some people have fallen victims of
this as in working on contract basis and are caught unawares

But sincerely, people need to learn to spell very well. Though occasional mistakes are pardonable, before you hit post, try to review your spellings.
On Chevron, yes,  its the company to work for.
I don't know what its like in Naija, but I work at the HQ in the US and its swell!.

Look at all of them following the crowd like sheep to the slaughter.  Sopescott is a good friend of mine and he did not win any Chevron contract job.  He was just running a stupid test and making fools out of all of you.  Spelling like an idiot to see how long it would take me to correct his spelling.

When you are on Nairaland, you need to put your thinking caps on.

His original title (before I was forced to change it was "Is ChevRoNN Contact Job Woth It" and I was annoyed because I know he did it deliberately (even edited the title).  Is that clear now, or do I have to explain it in Yoruba so you can all understand?  put your thinking caps on, people, and don't allow yourselves to be taken for fools by people like sopescott! Not entirely true Seun. Someone did get a Chevron contract job offer. That someone just decided to post using a friend's username because  he did not have one--and was too lazy to create one.

You may have been a little bit correct about the spell-checking test: It was just a way of killing two birds with one stone. Bird 1: Is Seun a good moderator? Bird 2: Let's see what they have to say about a Chevron contract job offer.

Fellow posters, please do go on with your advice.

Posters, think about it: Why would someone use that topic to play a trick, out of all other topics available on this Earth?
