You can say that again. Tipsarevic could easily have won this game.

I wish I saw that Janko/FedEx match. Had to sleep.

Who's gonna win this Hewitt/Baghdatis battle? It seems Marcos' gonna take this third set; its 5-3 at present.

Yay! Grin Marcos takes the tiebreak.

The thing to worry about for Hewitt is that Marcos has never lost a 5-setter here.

7-6 fourth set to Baggy! How did Hewitt lose that set? To think i missed Arsenal's third goal just to watch Hewitt close that game off at 5-1.

I wonder where the tennis sage Octopus is? Her oy Nalbandian just lost today and boy did he lose.

His game was a calamity to say the least. Just couldn't get his shots going for more than a point at a time.

How about Tsonga eh. Two top ten scalps for the unseeded chap
And he looks a real prospect. Anytime a player can call on a quick first serve to get himself out of trouble
then you knwo you have a hot thing. The boy is powerful, with big shots especially that forehand.
And he seems to have matured. This meeting against Gasquet was in stark contrast to their last grand slam
meeting at Wimbledon where Tsonga frankly looked immature and wild. He seems to have worked on controlling
his shots and that helped him claim the scalp of the no 8 seed.

I know how sexually unsatisfied women must feel now. . .after watching the Vaidisova/S.Williams match.
It was over before you could say jiffy. Angry

Davydenko is booking his flight home as we type . . . Nalbandian is a sorry sight, Gasquet is finished, Roddick is on a downward slide . . . Vaidisova is a big baby but she will mature and become another Sharapova. . . Henin is looking vulnerable, how on earth did Kohlschreiber beat Roddick the other night and then just refused to win against Neimenen even when he was presented the chance several times?

This is shaping up to be one eventful AO.

It appears that the men's singles will be between veterans Federer and Nadal and new kid Tsonga.  And my Serena-Venus final prediction stills seems a possibility.  Let's see how it goes.

abi ke, I was shocked to find out Blake is still alive, but his reward is a match with the FedExpress, too bad. My money is on Roger. and Roger vs Djokovic, I'm drolling at the possibility and maybe he can do some of those player impersonations too- that dude is great for tennis.

How about Tsonga huh? I liked him since last year and now all my rooting is paying off  Grin,  I hope he moves on so I can watch him kick Nadals butt in the semis. Those capris need to go!

Jesoul,

Don't count Blake out yet. Anything can happen in tennis and some of it has actually been happening. Federer looks a bit more vulnerable in this tournament than usual, though I wouldn't mind a Blake/ Tsonga final. Wink

There is no comprehensible tennis reason that Serena should lose to Jokovic who
struggles to reach 90 mph serve.

And did you see Niemenen against Nadal. Some of his second serves should earn him
a ban from the tour.  Angry Angry Angry Angry

Jankovic beats Serena?
Sharapova beats Henin?

For me, these results are shocking.  Is this the way Women's Singles is? - utterly unpredictable?.  I wonder what the results of the remaining Women's quarterfinals will be.

well, i hope d result of of one will be
Venus into the semis
she has been sluggish as well, while Ivanovic has really 'uped' her game
kinda have a bad feeln about this as a Williams fan ie

Tsonga/Mikhail Undecided
my bet will be on Tsonga
