Yes. Other people whose country is not "black listed" Unfortunately, since Nigeria is on that list, anyone carrying a Nigerian passport will be subject to the same treatment. I love my country so much. However, its passport has basically no value outside of Nigeria.
A few years ago, I was travelling back to Chicago from Lagos on Sabena airlines. The leg from Brussels to Chicago got cancelled. So, they started to put us on other airlines (BA, air France, whatever) heading to Chicago. When they asked for my passport to book me on the available Air France flight, I brought out my Niger passport. The first thing she said was that "Hmmm we got a problem regarding transit visa" I'm like never mind. I yanked out my British Passport and then she smiled and said "Good, now we are in business".
Again, I love my country, but a few bad eggs have made things difficult for most of us.
Did you people read what the poster wrote down??? The poster said other non Nigerians were given transit visas at the airport. That means even if he had no transit visa in his passport and was not holding a Nigerian passport he would have been granted a transit visa there at the airport.
