Hi house.i want you to please help in shedding more light on this topic. The two words "programmer" and "Developer" are used interchangably.Please what it the major diference between the two.

They are used interchangeably, and I do not see any difference.

The software developer appellation is more encompassing, implying involvement with all facets of development from requirements analysis to design, actual coding and testing. A programmer is more restricted to coding. Except in small companies or individual projects, some programmers don't even do GUI and general macro software design and so they might not even know the whole picture of projects they work on.
