@ topic it happens almost everywhere.in the buses,markets,train stations everywhere.people preach their religion.we are not forced to listen,contribute or even give them alms/offerings.its an individual choice,you can choose to start your own preaching,climb down and take another bus/train or better still play music with your earphone.its still a very free world. come to think of it,most of these so called preachers are not really praticing christians.Yes they are not! some of them are just poor huzzlers hawking one medicine or the other and the only way they would get peoples attention is by singing and praying with them.watch out,after the songs and all,the drugs start flying out and the real biz of the day commences  some others are just beggars,drug addicts or what have you,all looking for money to sort their selves.nigerians are religious people and those beggars know that.if you need peoples attention,sing and pray with them.thats just it.70% OF those so-called bus preachers are either beggars,drug addicts or sales men. thank God for earphones anyway !  |

if the bus drivers allow them to preach,people should let them spread their gospel,it's called freedom of speech. Molue buses are private enterprises when I was in Nigeria. They are are not run by public funds and frankly people don't have to enter them. It may be time for people to invest in I pods (or walkman) or just stuff their ears with pieces of "The Daily Sun" If the preacher "sprays" like grafikdon alleged,people should wear rain coats and sunglasses Thank God all the anti preaching paraphernalia have already been invented |
