hi all,
message from hitv,

Dear Partners,

In the recent past one of the key customer service issues we’ve had to deal with is the occurrence of HiTV branded decoders that are unable to do auto scan for new channels, translate Zee Cinema and implement OTA. This is due primarily to the older software version on the decoders.

Therefore EHL is embarking on an initiative to encourage customers come forward with their decoders for upgrade to the latest software (version 2.0.7) FREE and we also intend to use this exercise to update our customers’ records.

Please note that these 2 versions need to be installed sequentially for maximum benefit. We have identified a pool of dealers and will require your help to disseminate the info and the software versions.

The benefits of this upgrade to subscribers are:

               I.      Automatic scanning of New Channels.

II.      Subtitling on Zee Cinema for HiTV customized decoders.

III.      OTA i.e. Over the Air- which subsequently enables OTA upgrades.

Thanks,

Martins Akingba

Hi Urfriend,
Thanks for the info, Are you expecting us to bring along our decoders to the Hitv offices for upgrading, I think it's a good idea for us to able to understand whatever the Hindi languages are saying on Zee cinema, but please,i just bought my decoder not quite long,i bought it in June and it has been upgraded once in August,if i am right?Do i need to bring it along for upgrading once again?I am really scared of the long queue at your office, Is there any outlet whereby we can take it to be upgraded instead of brining along to the Hitv office? Please assist us!!
