hi urfriend,

at last hitv and its crew were able to add a new channel (Zee Cinema on 12130 H 27500). my observation is that, since hitv will be sharing the same transponder with gtv, i think the number of channels to be added would drastically be reduced.

Was able to scan for it and it's ok.

However, i still want to believe that this is really targeted at the growing Indian community in Nigeria and lovers of the bollywood stuff.

@urfriend.

When are we going to get something that we can "feel"?

I think that the word soon (as used by HiTV) can be seen as:

Sometimes
Optional
Ongoing
Never

@ahwuyen,

U are not quite getting it.

Fox news was not part of hitv offerings. You were getting fox news on hitv but it was Trend tv's Fox news.

Maybe you meant fox sports which has always been part of hitv(though its the most unstable channel on hitv).

the cnbc africa was only available on hitv cable(terrestrial or whatever they call it.)

maybe its now added to the sattelite platform, hence the announcement by urfriend.

It is true they have added Fox news and CNBC Africa. We need more entertaining channels.

God bless the originator of this thread and the contributors.
I'd been at a loss how to 'upload' the new channels on Hitv, but thanx 2 u guys,they're on now.
I even found the trendtv channels too.
But seems like some of those trendtv stations do not run 24/7.
Hitv guys,we're holding our breath waiting on you guys to add more channels.

If hitv is truly Nigerian, why is the header of their website

info@hitv.com.ng
League Table | League Fixtures | Site Map | Contact Us

They are still giving the impression that e'thing is all about the premiership
