@snuggle,
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, i bin played abi? my sister, leave story for story teller. shit happens, but really all i wanted initially was adventure, i wanted to paly, i wanted to jazz up my life a little bit, she ahd danger written all over her, but ever since i can remember, i have always lived on the edge, i have always had a predilection for danger, i have always been attracted to bad, but i didnt bargain for this, maybe i gots step up my game. we win sum, we lose sum, maybe with her, i was just not destined to win, even now as i write, its a struggle not to call her, though i know she's bin gone again since yesterday, heck. man and woman thin ehn, e dey always get as e dey be.

@ poster,
is she the only girl in your life? go after other girls, thats the only way you can confirm actually if you can't live without her ,hopefully when she comes around and sees another sweeter chick in your crib, then it will dawn on her you have both yam and knife, obviously she knows you are more in love now, be a man never allow love lust for a woman to becloud good judgements.

Anyway, tnx guys, but question is, how do i forget this girl, and don't say i should go out and meet other girls, i go out alot, but right now, i think am too sapped emotionally to try to jump into another relationship. that would be being reactive. so what do i do?

sorry about my earlier response, get a bottle of Johnnie Walker blue  Index or pick up your Bible or Koran

Don't know what more to say, it has all been said.

Good thing though, you sure do write well. Write her a novel, she'll stay up and read it and will never ever want to be with any other man.  Grin Smiley

@ apache . . . notin dey happen.
you've had fun, you've exploited the girl and she has also smartly exploited you too. Back for ground cash for hand, in a certain way you both have had a nice come rough symbiotic relationship . . . but i guess like most guys ur age you are begining unconsciously to look for a wife in the women you date.
This girl has been fun but she is not the type i would suggest for a long term relationship . . . she is yet to start school . . . forget it when she gets into school she will find richer, closer guys and she will dump you.

how to get over her? that wont be easy because she stays very close to you. I don't know about other guys but when i lose interest in a woman its the end of the road even if she lived under my nose. Restrict how often she can come to ur home. Talk to her, encourage her to leave, stop giving her money . . . pretty soon she will take the hint and leave u alone.

Besides you bros shld get busy. At 28 u shld be with a woman you see yourself marrying not with small girls.

@ poster, Since she's not a potential wife, I guess you just have to give her the cold treatment as davidylan offered. You've already spoiled her rotten with money and you've been an ATM machine for a while, when the money stops coming, that would definitely catch her attention .

@poster, the writeup is very good. But i must tell you that it is a bit difficult to read that length of 'novel' on the screen, please always try to summarize.
It seems an interesting enough story, i will have to print out this page to get the full gist.

i don't think u have  a real problem if u think its not going eniwer dump her don't be afraid. and don't forget AIDS is real before ure contently sharing her with sumone else. if shes too money concious and u can't handle it make a move. don't go and wreck because of woman ohh.

or better yet confront her and tell her u know aBOUT THJE OTHER GUY and its hightime she made a choice. ask her if what he gives her is more important than ure relationship either shes in or out.

Erika,

U probably already know that I'm leaving, i knew this would be better if i wrote a letter explaining tha truth about how much i care about you. The truth is, is that i never loved you, i hated you so much, u are my b**** and don't u ever forget that. I never cared about you, and never wanted to talk to you, n be around u. U really have no clue how much i hate you. Now that I'm leaving i thought u should know that i hate you b****, u never did tha right thing, and u were never there. I didnt think i could hate someone as much as i hate you. And i never want to see you, for the rest of my life, i will never miss kissing you like before, i never want to cuddle up, how we used to. I will not miss you and thats a promise. U never had my love, and i want you to remember that. B**** u keep this letter bcuz this may be tha last thing u have from me. I hate you so much. i will not talk to you soon b****,  Goodbye

A LOVE STORY: What Do You Think? part 2
« #46 on: January 21, 2008, 04:30 PM »

the saga continues!!

"RRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNGGG GGGGG!!!!!!"

the old alarm clock besides her bed went off jarring her awake, wide-eyed and groping frantically in the dark. pushing back the sweat soaked mass of her bedsheet, Erika jerked up from her sleep, involuntarily letting off a half shriek, reminiscent of the dying scream of a bush rat just as the venom from the fangs of a copperhead hits its little heart, abruptly cutting it off!

her heart was beating a staccato in her chest, and the veins on the sides of her temple were turgid with pounding blood, " O God! so it was a dream",  she began to cry softly, her slender shoulders heaving in self misery.

then she remembered the alarm clock. she stretched her arm towards it and pushed the old, rusting button. immediate silence followed. she brought the clock closer to see what time it was, peering closely at the victorian styled, short hands. this clock was a gift from her late mother of blessed memory, who had gotten it from her parents on her 16th birthday some 30 odd years ago.
she remembered stories her mum used to tell her about how famous her alarm clock used to be back when she was in boarding school.
"they used to call me 'alarm blow' back then", her mothers voice seemed to reverberate in her head. she also remembered laughing so hard when she'D heard that, she could only manage a ruefull smile now. clutching the worn out clock close to her breast, she whispered a silent "God bless you ma" and then let her mind wander to the events of the previous day. the time was 4:00am.

she thought of Kyle and their last meeting just before he announced his travel plans, and the 'coded' letter he had given her. her luscious lips parted in a slow grin, displaying perfect rows of small, white teeth,  "how ingenious of him" she thought, stiffling a giggle as she remembered her near heart attack on reading the note the first time. then she remembered her dream and her spine stiffened instinctively at the ugly memory. "thank God it was only a dream,  plane crash is not his portion in Jesus name, Amen", she silently prayed, closing her eyes.
Kyle was her first and only love, her heartbeat, her soulmate. she didn't know what she would do if she lost him,  no! she wouldn't, couldn't think of that! he was only going abroad for a few years to further his education, and besides, he'D come back to see her every summer holidays and christmas. she'll miss him, but she was also determined to get into the university and graduate as a banker thus making him proud of her,  then they could get married and have 3 kids-two girls and one boy, she smiled again.
her father hadn't warmed up to Kyle yet, he thought all young boys wanted only one thing from young girls like his daughter. "if only he knows that Kyle hasn't slept with me yet", she mused. her dad'll come around soon enough, she decided. once he gets to know Kyle better, he'll see that he's different from the others. Kyle was a perfect gentleman, plus he knew her so well. he had found her at a time she was experiencing a psychological downslide, following her mothers death. he had shown her true love, and restored her hope in life. she had drawn emotional strenght from him, and he never failed to encourage her and raise back her self esteem. her thoughts wandered to the time she'D seen him talking intimately to another girl and she threw up a tantrum, only to find out later that the other girl was his cousin. he hadn't rubbed it in then, just smiled and called her 'jealousee',  she remembered feeling hot in her cheeks that time.
"Dear God, please don't take him away from me!", she prayed out loud this time, looking up at the ceiling.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that was her fathers N2000 seiko digital alarm clock, with fm and calendar. he'D be awake now and start getting ready for work. she had to hurry and make breakfast for him and her kid brother Kenny, who was still fast asleep.
she glanced again at her clock, still clutched to her chest. it was 5:30am.

You are just finding it difficult to make a decision that you know very well is right. LEAVE HER ALONE, let her be.
This is not love, its confusion. arent there other girls in your environment?
get someone else who will have regard for you and for who you are. yes you like her, and enjoy her company but look beyond that and take a decision. talk to her and know what she really wants in life.

further, isint she too young for you? you can't tie such a young girl down, she is stil in the adventurous stage of life, just play the game her way, get another girl while you know she has her own guy.

by the way whats your proffession, you seem to write a lot, keep it up

Why are you advising him to leave her alone? The guy still likes her, despite the fact that she has been playing him, and roaming around with some other richer dude. Abeg, leave am o. Angry

He likes the fact that there is some competition for the girl's attention, and he thinks that somehow he might end up having the upper hand. So wetin come be una own? If he didn't like her, or if he hated the fact that another guy was in the picture, he would have banned her from his house or hooked up with another chic.
