AND WHEN WILL PEOPLE REALISE THAT UTAKA BECOMES LAZY WHEN HE PLAYS ON THE WING.

PUT HIM IN THE MIDDLE WHERE HE CANNOT HIDE. HE IS AFTER ALL ONE OF OUR MORE SKILLFUL PLAYERS AT THE MOMENT.

WHY DID IKECHUKWU UCHE NOT PLAY. HE IS ONE OF THE FEW WE HAVE THAT CAN ACTUALLY TAKE ON A PLAYER?

My main guys of the match:

Odemwingie
Taiye Taiwo (surprisingly! Shocked)
Mikel (to an extent)

Apam should be sent back to Julius Berger FC or wherever he came from!! Angry

@topic,

I don't see anything wrong with that match. Someone has to win, though the game was even ly tied. We were just unlucky as the game could have gone either way.

Good question.  I was actually wondering where the dude is too.  He seems to me to be the only one that has almost fit in Okocha's shoes since Jay Jay left us.  I don't think he's on the 23-man list or is he?

LMAO @ Doyin  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

The only reason why you would think that Nigeria will win is just patriotism which is understandable. Apart from that , all indices point to an Ivorian victory. So I am wondering why u should be putting your plasma TV on the endangered list.

Please stop calling for the head of Vogts. At this point now we can't genuinely assess if he is good or not. We have gradually dug our own grave since the end of Westerhoff's era. Even Westerhoff went to 2 nations cup before he eventually stuck gold in Tunis. We know we have the talent . We just need the consistency and dedicated preparation. And good luck to you, if u think the sports ministry and the NFA will give u that

who should we blame, ? the president, we have to blame the coach 'because had they played well, we would have praised him. so I repeat Vogts is a mclaren clone, he is a total failure! and as for the players, shame on them, the EPL & european leagues has done them no good. except their fat salary!!!

If u like go bring Fabio Capello or Gus Hiddink put for there , if we don't clear up the clogs in our system we would never get out of this quagmire.
One thing people forget is that Westerhoff was a success not because was a coach but because he was wily manager too. He took advantage of the military dispensation then. He cut so many corners in terms of adminsatrative crap and he had direct access to Aso rock. The military guys were also more than happy to side step the ministry and deal with Westerhoff directly.

@ Doyin
I agree with u on that. Where is Yusuf Ayila? In my opinion , he is the best holding midfielder we have got ever sice the exit of Oliseh. I never liked Seyi as a player. He seemed to me more like another Efe Sodje
