What should be done when You have Your passport stolen with valid Visa on it?

Get a police report, then write immediately (via courier) to the embassy that gave the visa and report the passport stolen.

you may have to report to the police.most embassies do the visas that have your photograph showing on them.it may not be too easy for someone else to use it without getting into some trouble.

my concern is it got a visa without the passport photo on it and still valid till May,yes it was stolen,i have all necessary details and also cancelled the passport,can the embassy issue a new visa? But i will be contactin the embassy in a few days anyways via courier service.will keep ya updated.Nigeria go always be Nigeria.

Whenever you get a visa,photocopy it,that way if anything happens to your passport,you will easily get the visa when a new passport has been issued.
