Berti vogt is really really stupid innit?

Mistake 1: He removed Odemwingie ( who is the only two footed player) that can use both right and left leg and put in Lazy leg Utaka. Odemwingie was more sharper than Utaka in both game.

Mistake 2. How on earth can he play Mikel infront of Olofinjana. Mikel is not good as he use to be as an attacking midfielder. Mourinho changed his gamestyle. Can't Vogts ( it sound like creepy-crawlie, does'nt it?) get that into his cement head?

Mistake 3. His three changed were strikers. Jeezzzzzzzzzz, did he not consider that the midfield needs a makeover at all?

O ga oooooo

I have said Nigeria will loose because their first match they loose.Them no even score one at all. Them be like Namibia. I prefer Under-17 eagles to them. E be like say this guys de go patronise harlots for Ghana. Na Vogt life I de pray for because Ninjer boys go wait am for airport. Make una bit Makinwa mercilessly. Na jazz man i dey consult for Vogts now and the rest of the players

Was really disappointed with the show of shame Nigeria put out yesterday,
My suggestion is if we need to get a foreign coach, we should look for one
with a good per degree not the Berti's and the Vogt's or better still, we use
the local coaches they are quite a handful.

Come to think of it,i think its a stage we jst av to pass through as a country in our football.
I remember korea japan world cup where france was eliminated in the first round without scorn a single goal. They had 3top strikers that were the highest goal scorers in there respective leagues.
Henry in england
cisse in france
trezeguet in italy.
And yet they lost to senegal and lost out in the first round.
I only hope we can regroup within d nxt two years like france did and got to d finals of d nxt world cup.
I av never sn a naija team as pathetic in front of goal as this in my life

« #367 on: January 26, 2008, 04:58 AM »

the blame lies squarely with Vogts

there was simply no creative midfielder in the squad!

Mikel can do some things, but he and Olofinjana are similar ball holding players, they cannot create much.

Too many attackers in the squad, too little creativity, apart from Taiye Taiwo who put in a few crosses, there were NONE

even Osaze couldn't cross to save his life, though he tried a bit. The defence was passable in this game, the main issue was lack of creativity

no Oruma nor Obodo, with Kanu injured, who was going to create?

Mayb etuhu shld av playd alongside mikel, but i think vogts is to blame because of his defensive kind of game.
Shittu has bn a revelatn.
Did anyone notice how d eagles were drinking water like camels?
Dats to show how hot the weather was at 9th 4 that matter!
And our darling coach chose malaga as our camp

malaga no be the issue my guy

the lack of an attacking/creative minded midfielder/wingers was the problem!

I have never felt like this before. I mean,  I don't have confidence in  the super eagles . that has never happened before, no ! not the nations cup,   come on people,  when did Mali and cote voire  pop into the "unbeatables" for nigeria? The only nation that  we always had our hands full with was Cameroun and here we are talking about "twonew bees" in african soccer,  whats wrong with the super eagles?

Come to think of it guys, were you all expecting the Eagles to do anything at the NC?  Embarrassed

I saw the team list Mr. Volks released and I saw what will befall them when the get to Ghana.

As debosky said, a team that lacks a creative midfielder is asking for wahala
and that is what we have gotten. So no need to cry for heaven's sake Wink

No need going back to the drawing board because those ambitionless people at the Glass House
don't give a hoot as long as their pay is preserved.  Huh  Huh  Huh

If we don't get our acts together, we won't still be at 2010 World Cup. That is the truth

It means say we are out? My BF no fit give me pocket money today make i use make my hair because of super eagles wey loose, what a mess!! Vogt should go for more coaching lesson because he has disappointed us. They should have taken Under-17 boys instead. They warned Vogt in the first match about the tall legged man(Makinwa) and he still put Makinwa. You men should please take heart and I know that the NFA will go back to their drawing baord and map out plans. Angry Angry Angry
