Light Skin Girls Are Better!

@londoner look read my posts again.  Just as some fools were saying light skin is better I pointed out why others might think dark skin was better hence the phase the darker the berry the sweeter the juice!  You can clearly see that I don't believe in colour casting.

or point out where i even implied in anyway that you hated dark skin.

Lady T, it was not clear that you were not yourself saying "the darker the berry sweeter the juice", as your own personal opinion, so if that is not what you were saying, then I humbly apologise.

There are people like Zara who go about saying light is better, and others like Eko who go around saying dark is better, their own choice, even if it exposes a rather simplistic and insecure attitude   at worst and at best a harmless preference, but if one is to be a sign of madness or backwardness, so should the other.

Zara and Omo Eko, from what I've read  here, are two sides of the same coin.

@ AAliyah06, no need to have a word with "ALL the light skinned lovers out there", people have a right to prefer whatever they want to prefer, dark or light. Its actually their choice. What should be frowned upon is disrespecting people in the process.

If I like fruit, noone should tell me I should be liking apples rather than oranges, its up to me.

Yes thats what I'm saying, the problem is the offense to others in the way we express our preferences, not the preference itself.

To be honest, there are some people who are offended because some people prefer light skin, maybe not people here, but some people are insulted just based on the preference alone, just like you said "for whatever dumb reason", its doesn't have to be a dumb reason behind it, anymore than having a dark skinned preference doesn't have to have dumb reason behind it.

I tend to agree with that statement theifofhearts, but people find themselves attracted to certain types, just like many women would never date a guy who is 4 ft tall just because he is shorter than them, so they find it unattractive. One reason,height, dumb? Maybe,

Londoner you are twisting it.  The topic states the light skin girls are better than dark skin girls.  Yes people have preference but if it is based on the silly notion that this group that you prefer is better (better humans) than the group you don't prefer then it is wrong.

One thing to say they perfer, it's another to say one group is better than the other.

  I get sick of the fact that people believe that the light skinned girl is not beautiful,is fake etc. I am proud to say am light skinned. My father and mother are light skinned, I am in my mid twenties and have never and will never use a bleaching cream .As a matter of fact I am using Vaseline Intensive mosturising cream at the moment and any time I step out people ask me the cream I use because THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY IN LOVE WITH MY SKIN. Africans are born light skinned or dark skinned and raw beauty can be seen in any of these complexions,
People say that the light skinned girl is attractive , THAT IS A BIG COMPLEMENT FOR THE LIGHT SKINNED MAMA'S OUT THERE.I love to be decribed as an attractive , sexy woman than pretty , though pretty also happens to be one of the numerous complement i get from been light skinned. So all the light skinned haters , I guess it is nothing but mere intimidation you guys are suffering.

Dark skinned girls could be very beautiful.Am "fair"(not yellow) in complexion,but never in my life have i ever wished i was dark.love my colour and i have never used bleaching creams,only mosturisers.
