Light Skin Girls Are Better!

Even if you are light, you are still a black. Period. These topics have been overplayed.

i have come across a lot of east african girls, and talk of beauty, emmmmm  not only facially, west African girls beat them hands down.

when we talk of beauty, we don't talk of the face alone, dummies 

we talk of the shape. and when it comes to shape, the east African girls suck big time. 

am not hating, but only stating the fact. so don't be blinded. 

whether you accept it or not the truth would always be the truth.

While there are general exceptions to the rule, you are absolutely correct in ma opinion of ALL that you wrote up there. I may not use the word "ugly" but "dull" for the "black" skin.  It makes for no contrast at all and hard to use make up on a "dark" skin.

But beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.  I do not fine light skin on males attractive in the least.  They look too effeminate words!

Light skinned girls are not more beautiful than dark skinned girls. In most cases dark skin represents purity. People who think light skin,pointy noises and straight hair are ignorant of the history of how this stupidity came about. It breaks my heart to see Africans buying into this stupidity, when they don't know the struggle behind it. It was a way that the white man segregated us amongst ourselves. They would treat the lighter slaves better than the darker ones. mostly because the lighter ones where there children. Our ancestors where raped, beat and tramatized in order for this  color amongst the blacks to come up. I am dark and when I was younger I was teased as if it was a crime. As I got older and came into myself, I started getting hated on by light skinned girls. They would say things like, I don't care what those boys say, you still black. sometimes I wish I were even darker, because you stand out more when you are dark and lovely. I think someone most have gotten this subject from the tyra show. I love Tyra because she knows what true beauty is. Most girls who think they are "light skined" aren't  anyway. I don't understand why someone would want to look as white as possible when black is th color of our ancestors. Are we ashamed of who we are?Also, truly dark skin is a blessing from God. We look beautiful for many years longer than light skinned women and any other race. Look at the ethiopians, they are so extremly beautiful when they are young but have you ever seen a beautiful one at age 45? Light skinned girls have somewhat of the same effect and not all light skinned girls are pretty.

I think it is ridiculous to make such an ignorant statement. However everyone has a right to their own opinion. I personally believe that the black culture in general have been poisoned with the idea that White is Right.  If you you are looking at the beauty of a person it streams way past the color of their skin and this is coming from a light skinned sistah!

I am not Nigerian but my brothers are darker than me and I have always been drawn to the darker men.  I think that black is beautiful and the darker the berry the sweeter the juice.

i get teased all the time and am always called a white girl.  I hate it, so Okomi has started saying i am a black girl with white skin as if that is any better.

I read thru some of the posts and really dont understand why darker skinned women have to put down light skinned women.  just like there are dark skinned women that dont wear make-up same is true for light skinned women, women are women are women, some men will like them dark and others will like them light.  Just like i was teased cuz my skin is light and my hair long, so were the dark skinned women teased.  I really dont care for the division among women, among blacks folks among ourselves.  instead of dividing we should be building.
