So far the most common and pennyless process is formatting.

People also talks about a linux app that works well but I don't know its name. May be other contributors might give a better solution.

I will look out for ya.

1. First Install FExplorer in your phone memory.

2. Get to drive C: , you will find a file called mmcstore

3. Send it to your pc directly and open it in notepad or rename the file.

4. At the end of the file you will find your password.

For Nokia S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series

There is almost no way yet known to hack the memory card password in case of these types of phone but there is a way to do it some of the s60 3rd edition phones and almost all the E-series phones.

The remote lock option in E-Series phone allows you to unlock your phone by sending a sms.

I use a nokia N73 and whenever i lock the memory card, my FExplorer won't even read that there is a memory card in the phone, even my music player ask for the memory card unlock code before it can gain access to the songs in memory card unless i unlock it. So tell me how your step 2 worked for you? Undecided

Apart from formatting
There is a hardware solution called MMC unlocker
With the hardware solution, you do not loose any data
Take it to the computer village or any good phone repair shop

This will be my last post on this dumb thread . . .

@info;

When u've gt a Memory card in a phone, a file called "mmc store" is usually found at the root of drive C:
geddit?

No one here was talking about changing the drive letters of their system here. .
I read that somewhere . . Installing Windows on an empty hard drive will automatically allocate Drive letter C:

The same with some phones, the manufacturer ensures that all files are stored at Drive C:
Drive C is kind of like the default for these OEMs

yh . .Thats true, on a system - You can change the drive letters of any partitions using the "Microsoft Management Console"
But chaning the drive letter for a partition with a master boot record is definitely not recommended for non-advanced users like us Sad

I hope I've made maself clear . .

I may post one more time if anyone says sth stupid . .
