Can you imagine I forgot about this thread,  Anyway, anything from Bob Marley goes for me  Jason Castro. . . loved his performance of I shot the Sheriff but the next one. . . mba *shakes head* No doubt Syesha (a good dresser) would be going home this week, but you never can tell  Mmmhh I don't know who to choose between Cook and Archuletta Lol Randy was put in the hot seat when Syesha cried.  |

~Hello Stillwater,well its the last week in Idol N i suppose this thread will be dead after that ~I don't get what Randy felt was wrong with syesha's performance you knw,but then again i don't have his acclaimed success in the musi bizness  ~Am w/ Archuleta all the way,that boy sings and i get goosebumps,David cook is already on his way to success whether he wins or not,kind of like Daugherty!! ~Bet there will be millions of teenage girls waiting by their phones to ring !! |

According to Simona chihuahua trying to be a tiger LOL iice, that was wierd for real,, anyways, they got the finale as it was predicted weeks ago. Syesha just made up the numbers throughout, so by the Top 4 I knew who the final 2 would be. I say David Cook should win it! , they're both very good but Archie needs to grow up a little and appeal to the more mature audience first
BTW, FANTASIA made a guest appearance on the results show, one word, HORRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Idols is a really funny show, esp with the stats of the previous winners, Apart from kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood(Country maestro now!) none of the others really cut it, almost like a curse to win as the 2nd,3rd,4th etc runners-up seem to have much more succesful careers. Daughtry,Hudson, Aiken to name a few and I can betchya a million dollars that the likes of Michael Johns and Castro will be the "Daughtrys" of this season. Has Taylor Hicks even released an album that anyone will buy?? .Both Fantasia and Rubben are such cliched artistes that they hardly made any impact.
All in all it was a GUY's year, none of the chicks made an impression this year, very bland. I wish both Davids the best at the finale, they rock! |

Sad to see the show end, I guess I may have to watch Idols East Africa now, Since the season is ending, and I'm feeling very jobless this morning make I kukuma give my 2 cents on my favs! LOL!
My definite favourites this season were: David CookAwesome voice, very consistent and will make a great album hopefully.My only minus on him is that he has realesed 2 Cds in the past and is not so "new and green" like some of the others, as he's been through the motions, so almost had an unfair advantage on the more fresh contestants, but I like am sha  Jason CastroThis guy rocks!!!had a few bad performances and bad song choices, but from the Itunes sales of his studio versions of all his songs, definitely a star in the making, he also made it to top 24 of the best performances in American idol's 7 year history alongside Cook and Archuleta, no one else on this season made that list, so he rocks!!!I knew he wouldnt win, as the 2 Davids have stronger voices on stage but he's going to do great!And abeg the bobo too dey!!!  David ArchulletaSweet guy with the voice of an angel.They need to restrain his dad before he spoils this kid and turns him into another Wacko Jacko, he has such a great voice, but his dad is like pimping his talent and causing the poor boy grief.He will probably win, his fan base is HUGE!!!!!Wish him the best also, although i still don't get what he will sing, Cook and Castro both have their genre of music well defined, Archie hasnt found his just yet Michael JohnsGreat voice, although song choice was his undoing.he is also going to do great in his preferred genre, I hope! Left way too soon, while other lightweights like Brooke and Kristie were still there!And he's 29, just managed to get into Idol at the age limit, someone in hollywood should give him a break abeg , haba!

LOL, we agree on that totally, Cook is a winner regardless and Michael Johns was just awesome, My dream Top 4 would have been Cook-Castro-Johns-Archuleta!!!!!(I guess 3 out of 4 aint bad!!!! but Michael should have been there!) Those were my favs of the season. The only lady I thought had potential was Carly, but everytime I watched her that tattoo had me going and I forgot what she was singing,LOL! But she is good, her husband has a totally tattoed face so I guess them 2 birds really "flocked" together Yeah Michael should have been there! But i wish him luck with his career

I am so happy David Cook won. Archie played too sfae always singing the same type of songs, I could alays guess his performance but cook shocked us every week and challenged himself to take some huge risks which paid offf big time. I am so happy. Archie is good but not Versatile.
