Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by walbii: 10:52am On Jan 28, 2008
i don't know why u people decided to upset urself unnecessarily,i said here last time that if we don't score in the first half,we won't win the match. Those players are trying to decieve us to think that they really want to play, but from what i can see they want to go back to their clubs,as for BERTI GOAT-sorry VOGTS,His career as a coach is just about to end cos after this disaster,i can't see any country employing his services not even a club.LET US ALL TAKE HEART AND SUPPORT THE BENIN TEAM AGAINST THE SUPER FOWLS OF NIGERIA,at least we have some nigerians playing for them.

Super Fowl? You do them justice. At least fowls can run.

They should be called the Zimmer Frames of Nigeria.
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by cecegorz(m): 3:04pm On Jan 28, 2008
@Poster
FIFA ratings are not based on the senior national teams alone, remember our youths are doing great, we just won a junior world cup, payed in the 2005 finals, and all other good performancesso that explains our top rating globally.

But these Eagles are not Super at all any way. they're just 'guinea fowls', though we'll still qualify for the next round
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by onyx79(m): 3:35pm On Jan 28, 2008
"SUPER FOWLS", very catchy name, i like it. looks very cute on them given the circumstances. With such a pet name we wouldn expect them to do so much in competitions, i mean lets face it, what can a chicken, (sorry,er, i meant fowl) do. Well, my sister thought of a "wicked name". but i think i prefer yours. well, just for the record her suggestion reads: "SUPER VULTURES" What do you think guys?
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by vanesa(m): 3:45pm On Jan 28, 2008
Nigeria is going to qualify just watch and see!!

Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by tome1: 3:45pm On Jan 28, 2008
No o, at least vultures can still fly a bit but the best name the befits them is "Super Fowls" cos they are flying nowhere but home.Lets get ready to welcome them home.I suggest they send molue buses to pick them since Ghana is not so far from home rather than wasting money to fly them home cos they are nothing but fowls grin grin grin grin grin
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by abbey10(m): 4:35pm On Jan 28, 2008

Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by Prince22(m): 4:57pm On Jan 28, 2008
I believe Nig. will win Benin by 2.0

Hence, it is not sure if CIV will not give it to Mali

Anyway, learn wait till tommorrow

No country in the world is comfortable with Nigeria in a tournament like this.

Nigeria has to learn from all these to always be at alert.
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by Blatant: 5:00pm On Jan 28, 2008
Those fowls lack the passion and commitment it takes to represent one's country.
They are like most of us. We also do things for Nigeria (if we ever do) without passion and desire.

Our footballers are just like us in our daily lives.
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by 2ceSharp(m): 5:30pm On Jan 28, 2008
lets be sincere our boys have disappointed us times without number. It's like it has become a tradition to lose and hope for the best. Personally i think we might still have a slim chance in Mali failing to draw with CIV but that's a very slim chance with Toure injured. If we manage to qualify i hope we learn our lessons and do the right thing.
Ejide - goalkeeper
Rabiu Afolabi, Danny shittu, Yobo and Obinna Nwaneri - defence
Odemwingie, Mikel, Olofinjana and Utaka - midfield
Uche and Kanu (Yakubu) - Attack

I didn't appreciate the full import of that statement till i chased an unsuspecting chicken. Then i remembered this post and started laughing.

Guy, if you chase chicken well well, e fi fly reach street light o! how they go escape us now for the border?
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by sley4life(m): 10:07pm On Jan 28, 2008
Super Fowls are the worst team in the tournament. I guess Benin are better than us. They should be sent packing immediately. They should come back to Nigeria though Luxury bus because it will be a shame of us if they are flown in an airplane. Wetin dey worry them. Ebe like say them cover there eyes when them they reach box 18. Yak they stay near me, I go terrorise him house. I go flog am belt for hidden corner when him come back Nigeria.
Re: Super Fowls Of Nigeria by mdjo(m): 10:11pm On Jan 28, 2008
Nigerians, which ones now? Una don forget? the good ol days when things dey sweet, when we all dey gather shout GOAL when or "super-Eagles dey flay futBall"?
What happend to all that?
We need to put our boyz in special prayers and help lift the curse off their heads.
