Mr Chidi, Cheesy Grin

Are you decieving yourself or they are decieving you? Tongue

Well, I as a person will not strive to emulate any man, rather I seek for how to get to love Jesus the more. Rather than trying to be the carbon image of any man.

That I may know Christ and the fellowship of his suffering!

Looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of my faith! Not looking unto any pastor! Kiss

Have a blessed Sunday.

God Bless.

I feel very irritated and shocked at the choice of your words.
You seem to be ignorant of the simple meaning of "overweight" and "worship" Embarrassed
  • Nobody worships the man but everyone wants to identify with a successful person.
  • The man is not overweight dummy!
I believe if the poster had said he was Bush's look alike you would have smiled like a jackass.
I like Pastor Chris, he is successful at what he does and good looking. Try to appreciate good thing when you see one.
Aisha you are an apology, what a sense of judgment you exhibit!

Look at people killing themselves over a trivial issue?

@Chidi, the shape of your head is triangular, Pastor Chris' own is not. Your lips are much bigger than his too  Grin

My candid opinions:

  • Chidi, you look like Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, no doubt!
  • the pics you posted are a younger version of Pastor Chris in his earlier days!
  • Your jerrycurl no go run dry lai-lai!
  • May you be as successful in the things of God as Pastor Chris is!
  • For closer resemblance, you may drop the "T" in 'Christ Embassy' and make yours "Chris Embassy" - or you may have "Believers LoveWord" by dropping the "L" in LoveWorld. . . who go notice the 7-Up for the difference is clear?
  • Or, you can even combine both the "T" and the "L" from the above to float a ministry (if you are called) and have it simply represent "The Life" or "The Love" or something like "The Legacy" - any one that applies!
  • Whatever you do, don't receive gifts of "generator" if you have any member working in a hotel - always query all sources of extravagant splash!

Above all, these are mere opinions - don't take them as prophecy! Grin

lol

very funny indeed.

The truth is people will continue to identify with successful people as earlier stated in a post.

I remember in my previous workplace, one RCCG member always mimicked Pastor Adeboye's accent and also did the '' all back' hairstyle Pastor does. This shouldnt be seen as an act of worship.

The truth remains: Men of God , and ofcourse real christians, are representatives of God on earth or what I coined "God-carriers". So people see God in you and tend to emulate your personality.

You worship your pastor if you depended on him. This is often propagated through some doctrines. Churches that make members run to the pastor whenever they are in ''trouble''. If any member had headache, he would have to see Pastor. Those are the ones worshipping the pastors.

There's nothing wrong in holding your pastor in high esteem as instructed by the scriptures. However, you shouldnt see him as the one through whom God can listen to you, solve your problems or recognize you.

Many churches are doing this. Few churches really make members see their rights as believers.

And I know, Pastor Chris messages are centred on the authority of believers. His messages motivate you to exercise the authority on your own.

So the real culprits should be advised to teach their members how to exercise their rights in christ!

@ Mr. Chidi,

Your coming unto this forum to post pictures of yourself and OYAKS and asking the kind of questions you ask tells me one thing. You've got too much of idle time on your hands, plenty of it.

Please find something more constructive to do with it before the devil finds work for your idle hands!!

God bless you!
