NAKED DRESSING

Some parents do encouraged naked dressing by their children by purchasing the clothes for them.  Why other parents feel bad when they see other children with those kinds of dresses.  As a parents, are you in surport of naked dressing among our youth even some older people.  What do we do to discourage them?

~Hmm lets not forget these "naked Dressing" as you put it,are made by high street stores N are somewut high on demand by consumers,i doubt whether our opinions on how it affects us really matter!!

~Am especially concerned on how most of the clothes you'd find in stores now for little girls are all kind of "sexy" ,some way tooo "Sexy" for their age!!
~You'll find a mini-me version of every trend that has hit the fashion Industry for girls 3-10 years
~i was more shocked to know there are evn G-string undies for kids Shocked

~Some of these clothes might be considered cute, but when you let a child portray a "sexy" image before they are even aware of the meaning of the word itself,i think that is just wrong!!

~The kids today R more concerned w/body image, wuts hott, make-up~ magazines etc, desperate to be with the "In~Crowd" but as parents,we should fully accept the responsiblity of teaching our kids about self-respect !!

~Fair enough we live in a world where almost evrything seem to be dictated by TV~music videos, magazines, celebrity crazed, there's that need to want to Belong either by wearing the most recent trend whether its age appropriate or not is not an option for some Grin OR by making up for not been able to wear these trends themselves, some might go the extra mile to ave their kids wear them IndiscriminatelyTongue thats IMHO

~Its just sad that some of these factors affect kids growing up as kids now~a ~days, maybe my response to this thread would not ave been the same if i had a daughther,if i do,she certainly will NOT be wearing a tank top that says "SEXY" thats for sure!!

~We happen to find ourselves in a society wherein people tend to ignore we do ave a choice on how we portray ourselves/kids by how we dress~

~Wuts with these sick Pedophiles out there waiting/looking for any given opportunity to find kids to abuse, the thought of it makes my skin crawl!!If more awareness is made highlighting this point maybe it will make some parent stop N think for a moment "what message is my child sending wearing this clothes"??!!

~With Regards to Adults, well i best quote a friend of a friend "If they make it in my size,am goona wear it!!!"
Some people use exposure as a shield for confidence, last i checked it wasnt a crime Grin, some want to re-live their youth~soo its really the individual's choice, nufin i can  do except LOOK  Shocked !! noo to crime for look Grin

thanks choicehome.  Help me tell them say, man no go respect and take you serious, if you expose your body for everyone to see.

Our parents should teach their children to dress decently.

the way u dress will determine how u get approached and how you're spoken to.
if you're dressed like a ho then expect to be approached and spoken to like a ho.
if u dress responsibly then u will be spoken to and approached in like-wise manner

if you're parent and your child has suggestive clothes that you're aware of then you're unfit to be a parent.

my sister is 18 and lives with me----them no born am well to dress anyhow comot for house

I am not into nudity.  Dressing sexy at the appropriate ages, occasion and intention, yes!

Children should be made to understand that there is a time and place for everything.  I do not understand if any parent in their right mind would encourage "nude" dressing to attract pediphiles or what?

Well, not in ma household.  When any child turns 18, he or she can strip by the roadside for all I care. Their business not mine! Whatever comes with it. . . he or she has to deal with it.  My parents did not have much say after I turned 18 and the same rules apply.
