Mikel is the best midfider in Nigeria right now, hate it or love it he's on top.
Lets not compare Mikel to Okocha, when he first made his first debut 4 Nigeria he wasn't that creative as Mikel,
what he does is just dribble around wit the ball. It was in Tunisha 2004 that Okocha really impressed me.

Was he played against Cote D Ivore and Mali? mikel played very well against mali and ivory coast. if u hate him just say it. he delivered the goods but the strikers didn't deliver. mikel,shittu,yobo and taiwo ve been there in all three matches.

I was asking a friend the same question. A good game against Cotonou and suddenly he is Diego Maradona.

Really? Jay Jay made his debut in 1993. And in July against Algeria in a world cup qualifier, he was scoring a great free kick and setting two goals up. They are miles apart. |

Jay Jay didn't mature overnight, we saw the best of him in Tunisha 2004 Nations Cup.
So lets get this straight, Mikel is a better passer of the ball than Jay Jay but he is a
better dribbler than Mikel.
Lets give Mikel time to grow .
