Canadian Visa Fee?

Anybody with info on procedure at the Canadian High Commission,Lagos? How much is the Visa application Fee and do they use the appearance or non appearance policy to access people? I intend to apply for student visa to take up my graduate admission in the fall. Also how early should i start?
