Religion is always confusing and not straight. Science is the truth, science can prove the begining of the world and will tell you how this world will end. Stop decieving yourselves that the world will end soon, The world is just an Atom that will take many millions of years more to burn up from the rays of the sun. Science has is here to stay for ever. Everything we do today is through the aid of science and life is getting better. You don't need to pray before you get a better life, Just make your money and equip and furnish your life with gadgets and your life will be easy,
Science is the ONLY WAY!!

Science can also be used to create atomic bombs, blow up millions of innocent people, and risk going to hell for eternity. By the way, you cannot go to hell with all the money you have in your bank account.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but science is now committing the same offence of "orthodoxy" as religion.Gone are the days when science stands for the truth. These days,no more.A lot of scientists working outside the establishment will tell you that. Religion is always confusing and not straight. No matter what is being investigated, science is supposed to stand for the truth at all times. But that is no longer the case these days. Like i said before, orthodoxy and dogmatism has settled in firmly, corrupting true science. Science has turned into a religion as corrupt as monotheistic religions like christianity. Ojibi-jibi-jibi! I still believe that science is a viable tool for establishing truth - it all depends on what is being investigated, though.

All the same, science is a viable tool for establishing truth - regardless the corruptions that one may claim have entered into true science.

Religion is always confusing and not straight. Science is the truth, science can prove the begining of the world and will tell you how this world will end. Science isn't the truth, per se. It is, instead, in my opinion, an empirical method for discovering the truth. Also, science can't prove the beginning of the world: science doesn't deal in proofs. And, science can't tell you how the world will end. It cn certainly give [i]highly probable[/b] scenarios. Stop decieving yourselves that the world will end soon, The world is just an Atom that will take many millions of years more to burn up from the rays of the sun. The world isn't an atom. You're a troll, aren't you? Science can also be used to create atomic bombs, blow up millions of innocent people, and risk going to hell for eternity. That's a bit odd coming from someone using a computer ttached to the internet. By the way, you cannot go to hell with all the money you have in your bank account. Course you can: Mexico is only a flight away.

Nonsense, these days science is less dogmatic than it was in the past. There are now peer-reviews for many proposals; theories now need to be falsifiable (or, at the very least, potentially falsifiable), and theories are continually updated or discarded with new discoveries.

science is not a belief, so I am bit confused with the insinuations here. Nevertheless I would say this :- People create bombs, because science makes it possible to do so; But people do not launch bombs because science said so or science postulates that killing innocent lives is alright and its rational to do so.
People rather launch bombs for personal agendas to suit their motives or maybe personal needs, which has nothing to do with science.

Science is the truth for sure, religion is a way of dealing with the truth and maintaining hope for a better future. Just as we created the atom bomb, we also created atomic power stations to provide electricity. In every negative there is a positive. We all have faith that scientists will continue to discover and invent to improve our lives. Rename science as God or vice versa and you probably have the answer we are all looking for Someone out their is looking out for us (God / Science). That someone could have been Alexander Flemming who invented penecillin and saved millions of lives or Louis Pasteur for example. Maybe God is a generic name for all the people that have and will in the future do good for mankind Religion = Faith in Humanity

the big bang is a THEORY not a law. there's proof from the death and creation of stars/planets.
evolution doesn't claim humans evolved from apes. evolutions says humans share the same ancestors and most dna strands with apes. bonobo's have 99% of human DNA. denial is a bitch.

that is mere speculation. The fact that the big bang remains a theory indicates that science is yet to come up with rationale evidence as to how the earth was formed. Creation of stars and planets? that is nothing but speculation . . . scientists shld try and create a star first before talking of "proof". Surprisingly 99% of the human genome is identical to everyone else . . . those characteristics that differentiate us from each other are carried on only 1% of the entire genome . . . so that again is no surprise that we share some characteristics of our DNA with apes.

The Earth didn't come via the Big Bang: theories dealing with planetary formations are a different beast from that dealing with the early period in the Universe. Technically, yes, we did evolve from apes - humans are apes. We didn't evolve from any other cureently existing apes, though. There are several types of evidence that suggest that those theories are right. that is mere speculation. The fact that the big bang remains a theory indicates that science is yet to come up with rationale evidence as to how the earth was formed. No, that's not what theory means in a scientific context. Theories are based on facts, empirical evidence and potential falsifiability. The fact that the Big Bang theory remains a theory is because that's the "highest level" of enquiry in science. As I said before, its purpose isn't explaining the formation of the Earth. Creation of stars and planets? that is nothing but speculation . . . scientists shld try and create a star first before talking of "proof". No, it really isn't. Stars have been observed to seemingly form and other factors which include computer projections of stats, and mathematical calculations, help in the study of star and planetary formations. How do you propose scientists create a star on Earth? Surprisingly 99% of the human genome is identical to everyone else . . . those characteristics that differentiate us from each other are carried on only 1% of the entire genome . . . so that again is no surprise that we share some characteristics of our DNA with apes.
I suppose it depends on which types of genes you're talking about. I'm curious though, what would a high percentage of shared genes between species indicate to you?

no scientists have different theories on the creation of the earth but the big bang is the most popular one. there's evidence that can be seen from rocks and elements deep in the earths core. the explosion and merger of stars in the galaxy is another one. where's ur proof for genesis?? it's strange u believe some entity created earth in seven days but find it hard to believe in the big bang??
Surprisingly 99% of the human genome is identical to everyone else
this is wrong, our closest related is the bonobo. other animals carry some of our DNA imprint but not that close. give the credit to evolution.
so that again is no surprise that we share some characteristics of our DNA with apes
it actually should be a surprise given that primates such as chimpanzees have the ability to use primitive tools but their brain isn't big enough to perform more complex tasks. again science has research back it. what's ur proof that the boogie man exists or the earth was created by abracadabra.

Science is not the truth! Science rather, as someone said, is an empirical method of finding the truth. The metaphysical exists! There are so many things that are beyond the scope of man, but it takes revelation via research and divine inspiration for new discoveries that advance human existence to be made. You can't know too much about God. Many of the early scientists that invented things that led to the advancement of society today were inspired by God.
Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love him. But God has revealed them to us through his Spirit, for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God (1 Cor 2:9-10).
Even the bible also say that God's ways are higher than man's way, and his thoughts than our thoughts. He is the only wise God, the full embodiment of wisdom. Wisdom with men, as the bible puts it, is foolishness in God's sight.
Religion however can yield answers for the curious soul, when there's FAITH. Faith is believing in not only what you can see, but also what you can't see, it is believing what you might not be able to explain, but you're convinced its there!
