I agree with Ra.  I would think that love comes after you get the chance to know someone.

This reminds me of a bad pick up line:

Excuse me but do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again. . .

Does it really exist....Well  from my own point of view the answer's No it doesnt. Here's the deal you don't just see some guy or girl and then fall in love justlike that. It's only a depressed person who will fallin love with some other person on their 1st meeting. What's your opinion HuhHuhHuh?

I can vouch for a story like that.  One night a few years ago I went to a club with a few of my girls.  One of them hooked up with a guy that night saying that he could be "the one."

The following week they went on a date.

That was the end of it.  She left mid-date and never spoke to him again.

I don't think there is love at first sight but there is "chemistry" that makes you want to see this person again or get to know them further.

Another stroy of chemistry/connection:

A pastor friend of mine was walking down the street and he bumped into a lady.  He said that there was something about her that just pleased his very soul.  They dated for 2 weeks, he proposed, they were married 7 months later.  They are still going strong (married for 7 years) with two beautiful children.

He didn't say love at first sight but he did say there was a connection.

2 weeks.  Can you believe it?

He said he prayed about it and it just felt so right.

Here's another one: (I love love stories)

Some friends of ours who live in a different state were in love with each other. She was 19 and he was 21. They dated for only 5 months before getting married.  The parents didn't think it would work so they were against it at first.  These two have just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.  They have 9 children, 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

I love hearing their story every time they tell it.

Whao vexxy, those were real life stories? If they are, I hope some would not be misled by it cause those involved did not say it was love at 1st sight.
The bottom line is use your head and pray to God.

Yes, King, they were both real life stories and neither of them said love at first sight.  They did, however, say that they had a "connection" which lead them to investigate further.

That's my point: I don't believe in love at first sight but there is something that may make you feel a connection to a person.  It's just like meeting someone for the fist time but you converse with the person like you've known them for ages.  Not love, but a connection that is willing you to look into the matter further. Cheesy

Hmmmmm, that's very true vexxy. But some people are just allow themselves to be overcome by their emotions, hence, they say "love at 1st sight"

Yes but emotions can lead us in a very wrong direction.  So I'd say be careful if you think it's love at first sight.  Take time to truly assess the situation.

I agree with you vexxy.
Emotions are feelings
Feelings are unstable
And you can't depend on something unstable, so verify and be sure.

@Damage

We arent denying such feelings. We feel that way too some times but my dear that isnt love. Its attraction...and funny enough the strongest kind of attraction is never equal to love.
If its not love..its not the same thing as love.

*advise*
Try change your name...maybe she thinks u want to damage her life Grin
